I understand this is an older clip but...what happens if you overshoot this date thing. Can't you just roll back the year and work from there? Another Q, how far does that year thing go. It can only go so far.

You would need to let the watch run out of power then let the real life date and time overtake what the watch is showing. Then advance the watch to match. It will need recalibrating in the year 2100.

The complexity is absurd. How could IWC let such a Watch on the street. The instruction booklet must be a1000 pages long. I even question whyGovberg would ruin their reputation making such a video.

Gerald Malik its shitty how time and date is set on the same crown, can easily and accidentally advance the date instead of the time.

What is it that you find wrong with the watch? Based on your "instruction booklet must be a1000 pages long" comment, it seems that you think it's overly complicated/confusing. Is that correct? This is a perpetual calendar, so it's intended to be complex.
