Re big that fits small. Seiko LX watches 45mmx15mm. Super comfy on my 15cm wrist. 300m WR, 45mm curved down lug to lug, light 100gm on band, with a bomb proof spring drive. VS. Ploprof lug to lug looks reasonable... but that massive chunk of Ti is almost double the weight of the LX, and with sharp edges on it will be painful on small wrists. The Hublot Mecha 10 looks very cool - I'm into it! Great show, thanks Tim 👌

When I went to the Hublot boutique in Vegas….the salesperson was super friendly I Itried on about 10 watches…had a blast!

That's exactly what a day at a watch boutique should be like. Rolex inventory is low at ADs; super-duper boutique brands don't want to talk to you without seeing a bank balance, and multi-brand stores sometimes have little product literacy in any given brand. @@msquared6695 This "French production" is 100% a cheap factory in China, which designers would never do much of a redesign from any communication anyway, and that's why only miniscule changes were made. This is such a super common practice among Chinese watch factories' designers with their simple 3D printing design software. The rest of the job was simple - choosing a case and a crown from what was available. Usually, tens of designs are available for immediate assembly there. On such a factory in China. I don't know what's French or can ethically be called French here. It goes beyond a simple dispute over crediting like the Deadmau5 vs Bieber beef. It is a matter of FRAUD.

With regard to the Ploprof, I believe the new model has an even shorter lug to lug than the model seen in this video. I think it may be 46mm, not 48mm.
