Hi Sarah! I have a handful. How long was filming for this, where was it done? What was your thinking using the sandy-colored color tone throughout, as opposed to the typical (and in my opinion overused) dark, shadowy lighting used often in such dystopian stories? Was it to compliment Maya’s red hair, like “her world” so to speak? Was the older woman in the restaurant a relative of someone on the crew? (I can usually sense a family member used as extras in film-I guess it’s my mental power! XD) Who was cast first: Farrah Mackenzie as young Maya or Larsen Thompson as older Maya, and how uncanny did you think they looked like each other when the casting director found the second one? Why was Maya taping her belly up before her contact showed up? Had she recently been in an attack/conflict? Was the same building used for all the shots? It looks interesting especially later in the film with the wide tunnels and open dining hall. Thanks for this opportunity!

I spend more time than I should watching this channel, but it can't be helped. Some of them are time I cannot get back but this one, this one was awesome! I was enthralled throughout the entire film and was truly on the edge of my seat. This premise could easily be a full length movie, I'd love to see where she goes with this implant and how the fight continues. Don't change a thing with the cinematography, acting and directing, it would be a smash hit, in my humble opinion. Kudo's to all the team involved. Thank you Sarah for a great time spent!

@@Lichtgeschwindigkeit196 That wasn’t the moral of the story, at all. Also… You’ve never had anything truly terrible happen to you in your lifetime before, have you? Because that is really easy to say when you haven’t…and comes across as really sanctimonious to those of us who have. The truth is it’s not for you to tell anyone how they should react to the pain they’ve been through in their lives, especially when you’ve had the privilege of never having been through what they have.

@@Lichtgeschwindigkeit196 we " should " love each and every one of us.... maybe not love , but at least treat each other , as we would want to be treated. Humans do not act this way. All humans are , to some extent or another , at least one of the following. Lazy, selfish, greedy and cruel. Unfortunately , most of us come under the lazy section. And there is always a tiny percentage , in any society, who are selfish, greedy and cruel. You will find them in big business , politics and law enforcement / security. Once you reduce or remove ' some ' civil liberties and / or human rights , it becomes very easy to remove more. Match that up with those who give up liberty for security , will get neither. As joroy64 said ... chilling overtones of what already is happening in American society. You might think of Korea as the most totalitarian state in the world , but the usa is the most spied upon, by the usa state. And if the usa gov gets telepaths, the God help america.

This is a filmaker so good that this person knows how to build emotion *and*" do exposition the right way. Exposition is a neccesary evil and the hardest thing to do correctly and this filmaker does it right. What a great scene and transition. No time jump either. Just natural. Then they know how to build tension. Make the audience dead. Wonderful. I want to see more. And the actor who played the villian. Plus how they wrote the female lead to overcome in a way that's actually empowering. This deserves to be feature length

Jus want to commend you Sarah for this fine film that packed a punch in under 1/2 hour. I'm really enjoying "condensed"movies like yours that hold ones attention and isn't filled with bs just to fill time.Very well done!

It's great, the story feels like I had always imagined Babylon 5's Psi corps and the psychic underground starting

Although it seemed very much in tune with the dystopian environment by Mr. Orwell's 1984 and the Thought Police, this was certainly a very nice production of that similar premise. It was also easy for the viewer to make the connection between the little girl and the grown woman and we were rooting for her all the way. I, for one, would like to see you coax this into a continuation as it has many possibilities for twists and turns in its plot! Very nice work!!

So good. I wish Sarah Gross would consider being the Director of the Star Wars space opera, casting Larsen Thompson as the storyline’s hero. Unbelievably excellent acting, such an intense presence, so much talent for easily handling the lead role - I absolutely would start watching the post-LucasFilm movies again. For what it’s worth, plain and average me, a humble fan of great stories and acting, will watch Ms. Thompson’s and Ms. Gross’ careers with great interest. Again, so good! Thank you for sharing, my imagination loved it. Oh, and the title and the song…I grew up listening to Bolero many, many, many times. But it had faded somewhat from me until ‘rediscovering’ it listening to the amazing and famous Mexican Conductor, Alondra de la Parra, conducting Ravel’s Bolero, performed by the WDR Sinfonieorchester. I’m not sure of the backstory for the title of your film, but I certainly liked it.

Well, the moral of this story was sadly "revenge", and I don't think that's a healthy and nice teaching, everybody should reject revenge because we should love each and every one of us and start to forgive the others 🙏
