I think Tudor understands that they need to make their brand appeal to a more youthful market. Young people are the future and they need to be convinced to buy a mechanical watch over a smart phone or watch. Making a quality product more affordable is a good way to build customer loyalty and encourages the purchase of other watches in the future.

Another good video, but i have 2 main issues with this watch 1) white hands upon a white dial , so you cant tell the time, even if you want to 2) the shovel hour hand that covers the sub dial's for half the day oh and won't mention the David Beckham issue

Tudor has me hypnotized. I own a simple Speedmaster Racing (smaller wrists) and recently acquired a Black Bay 58 Blue. The quality is astonishing, has classic lines, and is extremely comfortable. I'd gladly welcome this Chrono alongside both pieces and could see wearing it more than the Omega... I just subscribed to the channel btw :D

I just have to have it! Bought a Seamaster white dial last week and then found out this watch a day after. I checked with my AD and came back 2 days after that they had the black one but only one is available, panda was presold already, but I prefer the black since I got the white omega already. Looking at it in person and wearing it on my tiny wrist of 6.25 inches, there's no way I'll leave the AD without it and was told the moment I said no, there's already somebody else waiting for it. I was 10K out of pocket in just 2 wks time! :-o

I placed a deposit on this watch on Wednesday this week. Next day I cancelled and bought a new Omega Seamaster 300m Diver Chronograph 9900 with a 10% discount. Whilst I’m very happy with my Omega and of course it’s the better watch, I really did like the Black Bay Chrono. Very well built and a joy to wear. Highly recommend people go in to their local AD and give it a once over.

I own one and can honestly say the only weakness is the lack of black accent on the hand set . The legibility suffers on the "Panda" dial version and screw down pushers are NOT a great thing although I see the Rolex Daytona connection. Winding this watch is like nothing else I have experienced in the 12 other Automatic watches I own. The resistance takes getting used to and initially I thought I had a defective movement.

This and the GMT are a great business strategy to sell two watches every time you sell one. They buy the Tudor and realize that it still isn't a Rolex and then go to the grey market and overpay for a Daytona or the GMT Master II. The inflated prices on the secondary market keeps both brands strong. Right before the market went crazy I was thinking of getting a GMT. The fake shortage has turned me off to Rolex and their consolation prize brand Tudor. I'll keep my old Sub, but no more for me ever... It's genius, but it's a joke.

I'm noticing that the big sweep seconds hand is juddering every 4-5 seconds in your macro shots. What's with that? While using chronograph function, when I reset it, sometimes the minute chrono hand stops at 1 min. mark instead of 0 mark. And sometimes while starting chrono, the min. chrono hand moves to 1 min. mark straightaway when chrono is started. Is this a common issue? Any suggestions for this problem or it needs Service Centre attention?

Panda dial is very nice for the eyes. 14.4 mm thick makes it very comfortable. A real solid timepiece!

Andrew, best script yet. Too many gems to single any out. I think the Breitling point is interesting. My answer: (and it may be just my own prejudice) Tudor buyers don’t go for Breitling - with the exception of the very unfussy dials. Conversely, if you’re one of that breed which craves a Rolex or a Breitling then a Tudor will not scratch your it h even if it’s easily accessible on your wrist. In other words there is no opportunity cost between the two brands. That said, didn’t Breitling use a Tudor ETA 2824-2 adaptation movement in its 2016/7/8 super oceans?
