I have this watch but the rounded case one , it's so useful and durable watch . It has all the needed functions that anyone could use plus showing the world time of many many countries around the world with just simple clicks along with analog clock of your local time that is always working to show your time no matter what you are doing on the watch . In addition to that it's suitable for swimming and water activities but not diving . Love it ❤

I got the round version (ae1000w) of this watch back in 2010-2011, and it is still running strong on the factory battery. It's absolutely mind-blowing to me that it has been running for over 13 years now

Thanks for making this video to help us properly set our Casio world timer. Setup is made pretty simple with your help. Only wish the bracelet link adjustment is as easy. It was such a hassle to have to use multiple tools to remove a link.

I just got my Casio AE-1200WHD today and I love it. The mute button had been pressed accidentally and didn't know how to unmute it. Thankfully in your tutorial video it was the first thing you mentioned! I also watched the rest of the video to double check I didn't miss any of the functions. I took two links out to fit my wrist and am very happy with it. I also used a pencil eraser and rubbed of the "Illuminator and World Time" printing on the bezel area. It really helps to make it look more classy with out the writing and especially with the stainless steel bracelet. Thanks again for this good video and also for the other ones you make.

This really is a classic Casio and so affordable, personally I removed most of the lettering IMO I think it gives a much cleaner look , your tutorials are always so informative thank you.

@@prabhjitsangha4430 Hi I used a Q tip and some Goo Gone (from Amazon) I removed all of the lettering from the outside and most of the lettering from inside of the watch if you go onto the Just one more watch channel Jody did a video about 3 years ago he shows you exactly what to do...hope this helps ...good luck

@@prabhjitsangha4430 I did it to the watch I got today for just the outside letters. I after doing research on the different methods I used the eraser trick. I highly recommend using an eraser, as it's very quick and doesn't effect the silver color of the watch.

@@WatchGeek I think that the DATE & TIME on this CASIO AE1200 watch should be a larger size. The DATE and TIME on the CASIO model W96H-1BV is a much larger size. I can see the TIME on it easily from 1 meter away ! The CASIO W96H-1BV is my favorite digital watch because it shows the TIME, DATE, DAY and YEAR all on the face without having to push any buttons for selection. You look at this watch and it shows everything all at once.... though the CASIO AE1200 watch is better when traveling to different countries.

I bought this watch and had to sell it pretty soon, it has a design problem, you inadvertently push the Mode or the Adjust button all the time, when you move your hand in a certain way, it's a flaw with a quadratic design. I only had round digital watches before, they don't have this problem. Casio seems to addressed this issue on some new watches, protecting those two buttons, on the other side too.

I found it. the backlight legth setting can be adjusted in time setting mode. LT will blink and give two options.

I have a couple of Seiko watches and while buying a Casio A700 to get my eldest into watches, I picked up the Royal for myself. It’s such a fun and affordable watch. It by no means can hold a candle to a Seiko 5 but, it’s a good addition to your collection.
