Watching CORPSE BRIDE For The First Time! Movie Reaction and Discussion

My childhood! If you look up Corpse Bride production galleries, you'll get a couple insights on how some of the stop-motion tricks were done ;) Most effects were digital, though. You're like the only youtuber to spot the picture on the wall with the little dog! About cut scenes: there was a song that didn't make it but would've fleshed out Victor's decision a little better if it did, that's why it might feel a bit jarring. He sings about how Victoria seems to have chosen another the second he was out of sight, and now he has nothing, and the underworld isn't a half bad place to be... Yeah, it's kinda dark.

The animation in this film was so good that people accused Tim of using CGI. It was just so smooth. Because of this, he apparently toned back his skills as to not trigger that accusation again. This film really shows how talented Tim B really is!! I find it sad that he has to hold back some. Also, this is my favorite Tim B film.

A wonderful film and one of many I love to watch this time of year! The beauty of classic animation and stop motion just continues to hold up. Thanks for your awesome commentary as always

So many people hate on Victoria because they like Emily better, but that's not fair 😭

I did not hate her as a kid, but she was dull. They did not give her enough time on screen. But I liked Emily more. She was more engaging and deserved better. Victor could have been more interesting and an excellent match for Victoria. They can be dull together, lol. 🤣The ending felt so sad and rushed. Would have loved to see Victor and Victoria get married and have a family, but it ends there. Who knows what happened afterward. Knowing both families were poor does not look well for them.

I like Victoria but I also like Emily. But the relationship with Emily felt more like a close friendship than a genuine relationship. While Victoria and Victor just met, they have actual chemistry, even from the little bit we see.

Opinions, mine is this is better
