Unpopular opinion but my favorite spider man is Andrew Garfield. I grew up with Tobey’s trilogy so I’ll always enjoy it but Andrews was excellent 😩 I’m still upset Andrew’s spider man didn’t get proper closure but he’s still my fave ☺️

The reason they have diffeent ways of shooting webs is because the comics are so inconsistent about whether he can shoot them organically from his hands or if he needs a device. Really it depends on the comic run

I love every Spider-Man! I like Tobey’s because I feel like the story itself feels the most authentic to Spider-Man, and his dorkiness is kinda funny (it’s the original of course!) . I like Andrew’s because despite his movies you can actually tell he plays the role very well, especially as Spider-Man! For Tom’s, I am a high schooler at the moment, and I feel like he’s the most like an actual kid my age. So I really like his Spider-Man because I can relate to him since he actually feels like a teenage kid.

I like each Spider-Man individually. But Tobey’s is the one for me. Something I’ve always found off about Tom’s Spidey is the use of just making things seem like they never happened. Peter in Civil War feels like a completely different character from the Peter in FFH. His whole character changes completely each film he’s in. And it feels so off.

I love all three. The character has been around since the 60s, so obviously, he's gone through different changes over the years depending on the writer. For me, I think all three actors managed to encapsulate the character in their own way perfectly. Either way, you spin it, they all manage to be dorky, endearing, and badass.

The original Spider-Man Tobey will always have a special place in my heart bc I grew up with those movies. Andrew's version was not my favorite I have to admit, his movies didn't really make me want to rewatch them either but he does a great job regardless. Tom's Spider-Man is my favorite bc if we're talking about an origin story Tom fits the bill. He's dorky, awkward and charming at the same time and actually looks like a teenager. I felt like he really embodied this role well and instead of copying other Spider-Man before him, made it his own.

Tobey's Spiderman is my first ever superhero, so I absolutely have special space for him in my heart. Other than that, Andrew's spiderman is my favourite. He's just the quintessential spiderman I know, since I grew up watching the spiderman cartoons. There was no Mary Jane there, but Andrew's chemistry with Gwen (Emma) was SO FUCKING GOOD. On top of that, there was this interview where Andrew said that his spiderman would've been team Captain because he would've been turned off by the billionaire status of Iron Man and I think that's the proof that he truly understands spiderman.

In a deleted scene in the Amazing Spiderman, it shows how Uncle Ben was going to die. He saw the thug go into an alleyway thinking it was peter, it cuts to peter somewhere else until he finds a crowd looking into an alleyway. Peter sees its uncle ben and thwn cries. Idk why they changed this lol

Theres something about Tobey, his expressions, the awkward, shy vibe he has to him, the delivery of his lines are just so Peter Parker to me. Whenever I think of Peter Parker, I think of Tobey. His Spider-Man was perfect too imo. Many think Garfield did a better Spider-Man with his quips and jokes. But I think if Tobey quipped more it would of ruined the great fight scenes and the emotional bond between Peter and his villians. He does quip but at the right time. And his quips are top tier. Spider-Man 3 proved that for me.

The question is "Who's the best Spider-Man?" If you look by the feelings is Tobey, because a lot of ppl grew up with him, including me, but the movies aren't that good (just the second one is awesome) If you compare with the comics, Andrew is the best Spider-Man for sure. And Tom is the best Spider-Man for MCU, young kid, trying how to be a super-hero, so younger ppl will like him. Conclusion... Real Spider-Man, same as comics: Andrew. Spider-Man for "New Generation": Tom. Spider-Man that everybody likes, just because of the nostalgia, given that the trilogy isn't that good: Tobey.
