"That's not you" is response to Nymeria is reminiscent of what Arya said to Ned when he was talking to her about being a lady and having children before he decided to let her train. She responded "that's not me". She wanted Nymeria to come "home" to Winterfell, but that's not Nymeria's life anymore.

Theon was tortured and mutilated. When he saw Euron's crew taking the tongues of his shipmates, it triggered him badly! He became Reek again. That is why he jumped ship instead of fighting. Also, the transitions from the Citadel to whatever are genius! First it was the chamber pots and the stew, then it was the greyscale and the pie! And tribute to Ser Jorah who was literally flayed and didn't scream! Of course, in real life here in this world, his nerves would have been bare, essentially making him feel the pain of raw nerve all over his body where the skin was peeled. That is why most people die when they get skinned! Jorah took it like a knight! Great reactions! Can't wait for the next one!
@painlord2k Жыл бұрын
Technically, if the infection went deep enough, the nerve terminations would be destroyed and he would not feel pain. Or not as much as he would had him be healthy.

@dmp1520 Жыл бұрын

@becca1189 Жыл бұрын
"No difficulty"? Simple does not equal easy. Ask a medical professional how "easily" skin is removed from muscle without damaging the muscle (especially while the patient is awake & moving). It's not easy. Simple yes, but not easy. And in the case of greyscale: dangerous. For Jorah there was the strong possibility of too much blood loss or shock as well as the treatment not being completely effective. For Sam: one slip of the knife, one tiny hole in the gloves, one mop of the brow that brushes the disease ridden gloves onto his skin & he'd be infected. Granted, if caught early it shouldn't be much of a problem. It makes one wonder how Archmaester Pylos died of the disease. Once advanced it probably wasn't cured by anyone because they considered it too risky, but why it wasn't taken care of long before that I don't know (I haven't read the books or seen any of House of Dragons). Perhaps they could've done a better job of conveying the difficulties & dangers to the audience, but the situation itself would've actually been very dicey. Jorah's recovery isn't covered in this episode & it's been too long since I've seen it to remember the details. Not sure how much time passed before he was ready to travel. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

In my opinion Daenerys is the Princess who was promised. She was born during the worst strom at Dragonstone, she was reborn in a great fire, she wake the dragons from the stone under the red star (comet), and she is the true heir of the Targaryen dynasty (Aerys II disinherited Rhaegar and his heirs). That would explain why she's still in Essos in the book.

This was an amazing episode! I loved it. I love how everything is FINALLY coming together. It was much stronger than the premiere imo. I really loved having all of my favorite characters in the same room… We had Dany, Tyrion, Varys, Olenna, Yara and Theon! How cool. This scene with V/D was really cool and I love how she questioned him and he had great answers. That Dany and Olenna scene was great too. Her whole "sheep" scene was so great. Tyrion standing up for Dany was awesome as well. Misandei and Grey Worm are cute but IDK, i just never got invested in them or cared about their SL. Arya knows that her brother is alive and king of the north! I am so happy when she heard that news and she decided to go home. Seeing hot pie again was great. I also thought it was cool that she saw Nymeria again. I've been wanting that for a while! Sam helping Jorah was SO GREAT! I hope it works, but man it looked horrific, I had to fastfoward those scenes. I love Jon Snow so much. And it’s so cool that he is going to go and meet Dany!!! I like that he didn’t listen to anybody and stuck to his guns. It was also great that he made Sansa the leader because that is exactly how it should go. I hope that she does a good job. The scene between John and Baelish was really cool as well and I like that he put him in his place! I love seeing interact in new scenes together. The ending battle scenes were intense… I love Theon and so I’m glad he survived but what was that? Jumping into the water? I thought maybe he had another plan but I guess not. He just abandoned his sister? Although I’m not really sure what else he could have done in the situation.

What's so annoying about the portrayal of Middlefinger is the idea that he's supposed to be such a shrewd and subtle player of the game that no one suspects what he's up to, but as the show has gone on, his sliminess has become so obvious that we can't believe everyone doesn't see it. I don't know whether it's the writing, or that the actor doesn't seem to know how to do anything anymore but smirk, but he might as well be wearing a sign that says "Don't Trust This Guy."
@Kayjee17 Жыл бұрын
I think Littlefinger is falling prey to two self-deceptions. First, he caused the rift between the Starks and Lannisters that led to the war of five kings that decimated the high families of Westeros, and he took power in the Vale so slyly that he is full of himself. Second, he doesn't believe that anyone alive can match him in underhandedness except Varys and he believes Varys is gone from Westeros. So he smirks at how easy he thinks it will be to get Sansa to marry him and to get Sansa declared Queen of the North, making him one step away from his goal of the Iron Throne.
@Mathemagical55 Жыл бұрын
I think you're underestimating him somewhat. He almost single-handedly destabilised Westeros and has positioned himself to become Lord of the Vale should Robin Arryn tragically die. His problem now is that the two external threats of Daenerys and the Army of the Dead are making political machinations rather irrelevant. If they didn't exist his plans would be working out wonderfully.

It's low key irritating how much credit people are willing to give Olena based solely on her roasting skills. She's really every bit as bad as the rest of them, all the spoiled, stuck up old aristocracy of Westeros. Simply because she throws the truth in others faces doesn't make her any different herself
@atlasisshrugging Жыл бұрын
Indeed; Olena was apparently "OBLIVIOUS" to Cersei's plotting to kill EVERYONE who was a political threat after the death of Joffrey and Tywin. I mean, it's not like Cersei made it OBVIOUS by the way that she was indifferent to Westerosi religion ("The Seven") BEFORE those two died, and then (conveniently) "found The Seven" afterwards.🙄 The fact that she (again, OBVIOUSLY) was the one who sanctioned/armed The Faith Militant, would have been Olena's first clue.

Sansa is the worst character in this entire show. Not even the way Ramsey Bolton treated her was enough to make me sympathetic for her.......at all. She is a terrible leader, And that is compounded by how power hungry she is. You say she stopped arguing because John showed that he trusts her. All I saw was her shut her mouth when she realized that she was gonna get some of that power she craves so bad. Literally from the time she walks down the stairs dressed in her aunt's clothing. Until the very end of her story in this show she is absolutely unwatchable for me. There was some satisfaction that she set the dogs on Ramsey, But they even fucked that up because the only proper way for Ramsay to go out is if Theon is there to see it. He wasnt. She is obsessed with this idea that she is as smart and as good a leader as any man in the story, and she's the worst leader in the story. And she can't see it. There is no excuse whatsoever for not telling John that she had the entire army of the Vale there available to fight at the Battle of the Bastards and she kept it a secret from him. There's a thing called strategy and planning. She was there while they were doing it.........never said a word. She got hundreds if not thousands of people killed because John didn't know that he had those assets available and planned his strategy differently. And then to see her give him that smirk when the Vale rode in to save the day...... 😡 I prayed so hard that an errant arrow would hit her right in the face and knock her off that horse.

they ruined her badly and even i became a sansa anti in the show when she's like one of my favorite characters in the books seasons 1-4 etc. it's like they tried to make her 'SmArT' and 'CUnNiNg' without any of the work because they transferred her own storyline int he vale into her friends in the book because i guess it's more InTeReStInG to have her suffer which i hated already but as if it isn't bad enough they had to act like she suddenly is as good as littlefinger or something with no training in that or barley any at all???? yeah, she lived in kings landing for a couple years but she wasn't really involved in the game like that other than a few instances her actually learning like she does in the book would have made way more sense and the writers also equate being smart to being petty cersei 2.0 or something idk because they are obsessed with the lannisters and cersei so they think that's how badass female characters are supposed to be when in reality it just makes sansa into a totally different person yes, she was bratty when she was younger but a lot of noble girls were and i always was understanding of that this is just another level of petty weirdness and even beefing with your own family the only time i liked her was with theon and that's it lol, that's the only good decision done after season 5 with her season 8 was clear d&d had no clue about who any of these characters are and that's all i'll say about it (it's pretty bad when every single character is written in a way you don't like besides TWO)
