As a fun fact, logistics is such a large part of the game that there is actually a LOGI Union. They went on strike in game, and it genuinely changed the outcome of the wars they were on strike for. It is pretty funny.

I'll say the Foxhole community is probably one of the most welcoming communities I've found. I would definitely recommend just asking other people for help in VOIP if you start playing. The controls are not hard, but understanding where and when to do things is key when everything from guns, bullets, to even respawn tickets are player made. Asking for help will make the experiance 1000x more enjoyable and will help you slide into the community.

22:55 that's one of the great things about Foxhole, you can very easily drop in and drop out whenever you feel like it, no matter how much time you may have. It's really as simple as spawning on spawn island, walking over to the deployment zone, looking at the map and choosing an active frontline to spawn at, then picking up some gear and getting to it. Logistics unfortunately requires more time investment, especially when it comes to things like setting up factories, refining, crafting. The easiest and least time consuming form of logistics (and imo arguably the most important form of logi) is bringing needed supplies to a frontline with a logi truck, usually in the form of shirts (respawn tickets), medical supplies, ammo, and weapons from a short distance behind the frontline you're supplying. The other form of logi that takes minimal time is going way in the backlines and just harvesting resources, which you could save for your own personal use, or just make public for anyone to take and then refine themselves. Or you could be a gremlin and perform 'combat logi', aka scavenging. Spawn in at a front, taking nothing but your pistol with one magazine and heading to the active battlefield to loot corpses

@@NightFangFenrir you’re actually not far off. When low ranks (newbies) collect scrap further from the backlines and run into rare materials, they tend to not know what to do with it. So, they often just dump it into the town hall stockpile or a random bunker base. Techmaids look at the the map to find these errant resources, and then take em’ to the backlines to stick them into the engineering centers for making prototypes.

One time during a relic war, i was part of a logi regiment that had to hold nevish line essentially by itself, we held at the bridge for something like half a week before they came at us with everything they had, literally hundreds of dead collies later and we lost the southern part of nevish

In foxhole. You are require as a player to produce all the factors in waging war. You need ppl to gather resources, you need ppl to work the factories to use the resources and produces weapons... etc It is a 100% Player-base run economy.

There are only a few other games that have attempted this sorta genre. Planetside 2, ww2 online and kind of a couple of DCS servers. This is the only one with fleshed out logistics and it's brilliant.

It's honestly a really fun game, though many parts of the game require teamwork and coordination. I've been playing solo, but over the winter break I hope to have the time to work with other players. I do some solo logi too, you just need to find a good spot with the resources you need, a truck, and a factory.
