The best thing the devs did was bring back cross VC. One of my earliest encounters was as a mobile infantryman (flanked by friendly tanks) I called out an enemy that was hiding, "he's in the crater!" He responded, "no I'm not!" We got him XD

Ignis as a distraction/flank feint force is actually strategically brilliant. The pure chaos of Ignis, their familiarity with mass-cas events and doomed assaults, even the celebrity factor helps pull enemy forces to the Ignis front. It's like throwing the Death Korps of Krieg at a target while more traditional forces take ground elsewhere.

Unfortunately no, Every ship is designed the same depending on faction, for example, the warden gunboat has its primary turret in the centre, and the Colonials, have it further forward.

Damb was gonna get this game till I saw all the reviews about cheaters and clans mass reporting solos to get them banned and mods doing nothing to help and even siding with clans. Saved 20 bucks I guess.

It isn’t as bad as the reviews suggest. Both problems exist but the former is ‘alting’ where people buy a second copy of the game which is hard to detect (and an issue that people exaggerate because there’s not much you can do to verify if someone is an alt or not) and the latter is a formerly pressing issue which is not nearly as widespread in the current state of the game. The reviews are full of sweaty assholes who take the game too seriously and blame every loss on alts, or people who misunderstand the report system for getting a building demolished ≠ getting moderated or anything like that. More realistic issues are that it’s difficult to interact with most of the content of the game or have fun/feel like you’re meaningfully contributing when uou’re playing solo, and SOME clans are very toxic, but both sides have very chill and large clans which are open to new players and don’t expect much out of you. Some of the gameplay is just unfun due to the nature of balancing vehicles vs. infantry and the need to keep vehicles expensive enough that they aren’t TOO easy to get (which can make certain things almost impossible to access as a solo player unless you’re in the right place at the right time and someone needs a crew member; it happens more than you’d think but it can be a bit disappointing if you go a whole war without getting to use a tank) Personally recommend but keep in mind it is a game that demands a large amount of your time to get any visible results out of your own actions.
