For those wondering, this is, without exaggeration, what a normal game of Holdfast looks like. I’ll never forget the time my allies and I stormed a church filled with enemies. As we began to clear each area, I heard an Italian-American voice yell, “hey! I’m repentin’ here!” before a gunshot sounded out and a refined British voice replied, “repent harder.” Legitimately had to stop to get my laughter out after that.

2:30 For those curious, that's actually a bedroll, not a tire. A lot of the time, soldiers in professional armies during the early 18th century and onwards up until the mid-late 19th century didn't have the space in their issued rucksacks to store their bedrolls while on march, and would instead tie them together and wear them like a sash so they didn't have to carry them with their arms. This was mostly seen on the French troops of the 18th century. However, the British, Prussian, and Russian armies were shown to use that concept to some extent as well.

It is the year 4269 CE, life on Earth is dying. Humanity’s hubris and apathy has turned the once lush world into a toxic wasteland. The last remnants of man are stuck on Earth with no way to leave the dying tomb. The last of the remaining resources on Earth were used 500 years prior by the rich in an attempt to flee the planet. The failed launch and subsequent Kessler Effect has trapped the last of mankind to their doomed fate. Our descendants curse our names for the fate we have befallen them. 2:28 for anyone wondering, that "tire" Womble is referring to is actually just a rolled-up blanket. Most armies would usually wrap this around their backpacks, if they had any. In this case, the guy is playing as a Prussian Militiaman which are Soldiers raised during wartime to bolster the numbers of the Professional Army which may result in budget cuts such as cheaper equipment or not supplying the full uniform at all.
