Damn, I didn't even know Michael until after his death but somehow I miss him?? It was like he was born to a whole new generation when he passed because so many of us kids were curious as to why so many people were beside themselves in disbelief at his passing. He was really like no other - you hear his voice, see him move and it's as fresh as ever. There really is so much to discover. Invincible was never given the true appreciation it deserves!

@@jackiegoodspeed1849 Same thing happened to me. I had heard the name Michael Jackson occasionally at like school or something but never really knew who he was. I was 9 when he died and they started playing his music everywhere and there was a marathon on tv of all his music videos. My parents had that marathon playing all day on the tv and that’s when I became a fan. We also watched his memorial live and I was so fascinated at how big of a deal it was that this guy died.

"Earth Song" was my #1 fave from MJ for a long time. It isn't anymore but it's still top 3, for sure. The single was actually made for the Dangerous album but didn't make the final cut. It went to number one in the UK. "In the Closet" became the third consecutive top ten pop single from the album Dangerous (1991), hitting number six on the Hot 100 as well as number one on the R&B chart. The music video was shot in Salton Sea, California and directed by Herb Ritts. "Leave Me Alone" was released as the eighth single from the album Bad (1987) but only outside the US and Canada. The music video won a Grammy Award for Best Music Video in 1990; it was filmed in Culver City, California and directed by Jim Blashfield. "The Way You Make Me Feel" became the third consecutive single from Bad (1987) to peak at number one on the Hot 100. The music video was shot at Skid Row, Los Angeles and directed by Joe Pytka. Nice reaction as always. Please react to MJ - "Stranger in Moscow," "Bad," "Will You Be There" and "Jam."

I’m a very young person only in my early 20s Heard about MJ when I was about 3 and passed away few years after that. I’ve never seen a artist from the 20th century more touted and loved even after death than him more. Even with how famous people like Freddie Mercury George Michael Whitney Houston prince Gil Scott heron Beatles Elvis big L biggie MF DOOM David Bowie bees gees 2Pac etc and many more acts I can name MJ is still being talked about everyday. Not to say the other artist I’ve named haven’t had a immense impact because they have and are still talked about regularly. But there’s something about MJ that people just have kept talking and honouring his legacy in a way we haven’t seen. I see people talk about MJ in the most random stuff that doesn’t even have to do with music just his name alone is something to be stated. I’ve also seen people comment he’s the most famous person in history or close to that after lord Jesus Christ which might not even be far fetched in no disrespectful way Ofc to yeshua. This man changed the world and music forever a true icon and black people should be very proud and honoured to have a artist who carried the torch of soul and Disco that acts like Louis Jordan the turners James brown arethea Diana Ross David Ruffin etc started and then evolved it into pop/rock/hip hop with a worldwide crossover of every walk life of the world all while also still showing love to his own race and representing them well. RIP to Michael Jackson everyone took this man for granted and he truly will be remembered till the end

Many Weeks later his funeral and i watched it doesnt really know what i should feel but 3 Years later i got taken by grief and despair as i knew him better and it still hurts in the heart. He was a creative, kind, friendly, humble and a pure inspiration for a human. He was and will always be the most successfull Entertainer etc. that the world ever saw. He would really fit in the world...the world would need him now the most but its sad when you think, act and be different then you got no space in that society...as a throwback it was very sad, disgusting, horrible, terrible and only unfair how he was treated....😞😞😞

MJ was 3 yrs older than I, and I remember seeing the Jackson5 on TV for the first time and after, never missed a show they were on or an album they made. Even as a kid I was impressed by his talent. I had no doubt that any music video he's made would be of the utmost production; money not being an obstacle. He was quite the perfectionist. It still deeply saddens me that he died at such an early age. There aren't many people in the world who when passes, the entire world mourns. MJ is one of them. Thanks for featuring him.
