Can you imagine if they stuck to the novel's original "hobbling" scene? Annie took an axe and chopped off his foot, then used a blowtorch to cauterize the wound! Then she later cuts off his thumb and sticks it on top of a cake!!!

This is such good movie. And it has a lot of twist and suspense in it too. I really like this movie a lot. This movie was first released about 33 years ago in theaters.

I love Stephen King books but movie adaptations of his works are not always good. Fortunately this is one of the best ones. And it is, for the most part, because of the incredible performance of Kathy Bates. The way she switches personalities is phenomenal. And I love the sheriff and his wife^^

1. A mustang isn't a very good vehicle to drive in the snow. 2. Red flag #1: Anyone that says "Oogie" 3. The way she responded to the fire in the BBQ pit when he threw a match on the book: What do you expect? 4. In the book Annie chops his feet off (not just hobbling him). It IS Stephen King after all. 5. Kathy Bates won Best Actress Oscar. 6. Rob Reiner is a great director but, it's too bad he's a CPF.😭🤬 7. King wrote this because of a deep-seated fear of what overzealous fans might do. 8. RIP James Caan 😇
