It's called relegation and they actually used to do that. The tricky part about it though is you get problems like the same org owning both the bottom LCS team and the top NACS team competing against them, and just some financial risk instability for LCS team owners who paid a lot of money for a slot and a pro team only to then have a chance of losing it.

for clarity, the game 1 bot thing was a strat i believe bds from lec invented, where sion will take turret aggro and execute to turret, then tank turret and dive bot, so that hopefully they get a kill with no return kill essentially ending the lane lvl 1
