I agree. I think Cold War came a long way personally. From Die Maschine to Forsaken, the story evolved in this game as much as it did between WAW to BO4 in a single game. The ambition was there and I think the effort was made clearly. I feel Craig Houston tried his hardest and made a good story just from the shattered remains of the ending of Tag, not saying it was bad, but it could’ve been better. Cold War zombies is still fun to me, and despite its somewhat lackluster character selection via operators, and it’s odd situation thanks to the game originally being a sledgehammer game and with the activision situation, they made due with what they could, and they did pretty good in my opinion. Apologies for such a long comment, but I had to let this opinion into the world! 🤣🤣
