From what I can gather, ENTJs seem to have very personally specific rules to which they adhere... and everything else is negotiable. Very NT-based "whatever works" in most regards. If their goal is to win, they'll play by the rules. If their goal is to crush their opponent and winning is just a means to that end, then the rules be damned. It depends on the individual ENTJ's goal. They'll unapologetically do what needs to be done to achieve it. As for INTPs at parties... we're just desperately trying to NOT feel awkward and anxious... which is usually best served by not being present at social gatherings, but sometimes it's unavoidable. It's worse when we're young, but most of us are capable of blending into the background. Even INTPs sometimes feel compelled to connect with others, even if we're terrible at it. Like every other skill, it's a matter of "practice, practice, practice." -- INTP

Some potential ideas for videos :D - 16 personalities in a musical - 16 personalities have a debate - a part 2 to the 16 personalities have a house meeting (it ended on a cliff hanger with the INTPxENTP conflict) - 16 personalities discussing eurovision (if you’re a fan!) - 16 personalities travelling (e.g. on a long train or boat)

As an introvert from a non-english speaken country I find your videos not only funny, but also educational. Therefore my favorites are 16 personalities (doing something mundane) type of skits. I like video about rainy day, easter, walk on the street, meeting parents and so on. I was always like "oh, so apparently they have this tradition and that tradition, and this is considered inappropriate, though totally normal in my country". Also, when you had the inner thoughts of the personaliries written, it helped me a lot with understanding people. "Oh, so that's what people mean, when they say that!" or "Oh, so I'm not alone, who say this while thinking that". That's why I watched your early videos so many times! Also, love it when you sing, it's a shame that there's still no compilations with all the times you were singing in the skits. I feel like your video are more niche now, they are for true MBTI enthusiasts. I became one with your help, by the way! But looks like your most popular videos are the ones that people can send each other with "hey, look, it's you!", even if they know nothing about mbti. Maybe this observation may somehow help. But of course what's most important is for you to find what boosts your creativity! I'm remaining a fan of your content, and sure hope you will continue this channel!

Speaking for myself, as a pretty likely INFJ, I will observe until I see someone in a position to start a conversation with (i.e., they aren't already talking with a bunch of others). I might start a convo, but if it hits a wall, I will gracefully go back into observer mode until another opportunity comes - if I haven't decided to quietly disappear yet. But, I also feel like I have to say good bye to at least one person in spite of myself, so usually my exit isn't really quiet...

I thought ESFP was missing! I thought maybe it was a Patreon exclusive :-) and then I thought maybe all of the videos are through the eyes of the ESFP since you’re an ESFP . I have a thought, I think you’re on the right track with your new series. I’m really enjoying them. You’re also entering another era in your life so just use that to fuel your creativity too and don’t be hard on yourself. You never know what ideas will come especially after the baby arrives , they can be such a wealth of cool ideas. Seriously I want to do a video one day about the codependent relationship between elephant and piggy (the Mo Willems series) I’m not going to pretend I know anything about the KZbin algorithm but I don’t believe that view count is indicative of your talent. Many MBTI sketch creators/commentators that I know of really blew up during the pandemic had things change afterwards. Your talent still there. It’s just sometimes you’re creatively blocked, people are not locked in their house so much and maybe some interest in MBTI has wained . I think that has happened to a few different creators in the community(2 of them have talked about it a little) , a couple of them left just due to lack of interest, or life got in the way .

Gosh, it must be hard to juggle so many things all at once, Kristin. Hats off to you for having the energy to do all this, especially given your current situation. As an infj, most of the time, I begrudgingly go to parties, thinking that I’m probably going to be sitting in some far corner, observing everybody and lost in thought, knowing that the only time I will probably enjoy myself is when food is served. But, I have found, that i end up having long, deep conversations with random people, which honestly just happens organically every time. I never want to drag people into the corner to have deep convos with them. 😅 That would be far too awkward for me. 16 personalities on a sick day is my favouritr video by you. It gives me a cozy feeling, and it encapsulates the nuance in all the personality types.

i'm an infj that goes to parties but only if it's with people i'd like to know more deeply. i'll offer rides to friends i know struggle with transportation and won't drink just in case someone needs to leave. i tend to float between people, trying to pay attention to the party dynamic so that if anyone feels uncomfortable i can talk to them privately. if i notice someone has been gone for an extended time for example, i'll find them and try to have a conversation that goes in depth. small talk is manageable if it's with someone i want to be closer with; i feel like i'm either spectating or trying to get involved when i have the opportunity. i'm also prone to promising i'll stay later so that i can clean up because i want everyone to have a good time and would feel super guilty if the host was left to clean it all. not trying to generalize infj behavior, but i hope my party habits were interesting insight!! thank you for making such entertaining content :)

I've not been sure how to get this information to you in a way you would appreciate, but an old-videos video feels right: Last June, I became friendly acquaintances with Tasmin Archer, of the early '90s hit Sleeping Satellite; it was #14 in Australia and #1 in the UK and three other countries. She specificially complimented you when listening to Made By Thawing Ice: "Bravo to Dear Kristin too, love the vocals." My next album is coming out in the next few months - wrapping up the last mastering and then doing album art/photo shoot/music video/PR cycles. Nick Merchant's one of my four guest vocalists, which quartet also includes an executive producer of a Grammy-nominated album in 2019. After this album's release, I'm producing that guy for an entire album, as he's adding vocals to my back catalog of instrumentals. And I'm working with other chart-topping artists on stuff I can't discuss publicly yet. You always seemed to believe, well in advance of myself on this topic, that I could get to this stage. So besides passing along an international star's love of your vocals, I wanted to thank you for that early belief. It's mattered and it still matters.

My dude, I was in a long-term care home a few months ago, and I "broke" the dumb lockdown rules so often (by following them *too* well) that I legitimately got some nurses fired for enforcing them because I made them look so stupid and inefficient (they were). (I'm an INTJ.) 😎 (Side note: the lockdown rules were f*cking stupid. They always have been.) (Well, technically they made themselves look stupid, but you know what I mean. I just helped them screw themselves over.) I can provide details, if anyone is curious. It was actually quite funny watching them all freak out due to their own stupidity. Edit: actually, come to think of it, I believe that this happened in June 2023, not a few months ago.

Congrats on the 13 million views! I love you, Kristin! Listened while multitasking yesterday because I was so excited to hear your thoughts, but think I heard you mention Jenna helped design thumbnails, so chef's kiss compliment to you both! I loved your Jenna interview! It was my favorite video until you did that "Answering 75 of your questions in 60 minutes." I need to re-watch your Ghosts one since you said that's one of your favorites.16 Personalities as Philosophers became one of my favorites after going back to it and I think you had both those as your intro videos. Your "Kidnapping me" is my all time favorite (11 months! Hokey smoke! Time flies when having fun), and after that, I prefer more videos such as this, awesome announcements like you being pregnant, "binge-watching", and podcasts because it's more direct with your insight since I love you so I like hearing your thoughts! Kinda why the ranking series is my favorite since, while it is satirical, it provides more insight imo. And I think you asked our thoughts about the quick ones. I think direct simplicity can be more universal and enduring, and while, perhaps, not as entertaining since they're not as fleshed out, it is more accurate to personality type as opposed to personality, which imo is informed by faith, values, intelligence, culture, life choices, upbringing, tastes, maturity, health, being male or female, finances, etc. I gave your "16 Personality Types answering an uncomfortable question" a 10/10 if it means Ne-thing! I'm interested in whatever helps keep your creator momentum going. I don't want to tell people what I like because I want whatever best helps them and others, and I know my tastes...well, I don't really remember what my tastes are, which contributes to why I prefer to try to be impartial to my own wacky personal criteria, which I'm aware still isn't going to be the most popular but...I gotta go but, alrighty, from the hip: 1=morally abhorrent. 2= some redemptive aspects like Son of the Mask...I can't remember Ne...I watched it in a hospital not wanting the pretty nurse, assistant....doctor? I forget, and I make it my business to forget jk....I didn't want her to feel bad since she gave it to me....also, did I mention she was pretty....incompetent...and ENTJs would probably have a field day jk, I mean...in retrospect it's hilarious but Ne-ways....Nice hearing how your personality-type perception changed for ENTJs! 3= probably better to go outside and stop wasting our time 4= "bad" territory. we're like the captain that goes down with the ship. if we're a fan hoping to retain elements of something we like, we'll probably enjoy it. 5/10= gets the job done. it is what it ISTP. Points are can be added or deducted to get it to this point, such as there's thematic undercutting; internal logical of the universe and character abilities inconsistency breaking dramatic immersion; poor performances; odd juxtaposition with narrative causing confusion with communication; weak character development; non-proportional detours causing pacing problems; moral qualms; displeasing aesthetics...etc. 6/10= now, we're in "good" territory. Could even have an element of 1. higher craftsmanship 2. enduring 3. universal appeal, but generally very flawed. 7/10= could be perfectly fine. Could be flawless, but so could a 5/10. Perfectly lives up to what it sets out, like, imo, Top Gun Maverick unifying people without striving for much. 8/10= pretty perfect having one of the elements 1. higher craftsmanship 2. enduring 3. universal appeal 9/10= ditto except with 2 of those 10/10= This has it all. Got something for everybody. Everyone can Se this and acknowledge the quality. 'Nuff said. It might not be your favorite thing, and I think, most likely it won't be,unless maybe you only watch stuff with others because I think people prefer idiosyncratic perfectly imperfect things that appeal to their niche sensibilities individuality unique perspective but you can rest assured a general audience will be pleased. Best= Dear Kristin gotta go, but glad you're not going Ne-where and we'll still Se you! Peace and love (ISFP ranker style! That was...possibly the funniest one so far for my taste...I have to Se it again to judge it but I think the INFP Lily is still the only 10/10 for me but think it was a 9/10 along with the ENTJ, ESFJ, ENTP, INFJ, ESTJ...I gotta go) Hope you, your bundle of joy, Andrew, Jenna, Cameron, your ESTJ trooper brother (sorry, forgot his name!) and the rest of your family and friends are well! It concerns me whenever people start to frame it like it was just control for control/power's sake, when instead, in the full context, it was a fairly rational response to the very extreme and temporary global circumstances we found ourselves in. Frustrating and really trying in some ways for sure, but the situation was literally as life and death as it gets... (and it was temporary)

These early videos show the 16 personality types in a very bookish way, not counting the maybe divergent social environments each type might be raised in. For example, the INFP thinks the card game is too dark. Maybe the values of that INFP are more keyed into modesty and nice things because of their upbringing. But all the INFPs I know are tricksters and hedonists lol Some other types acted like you'd think they would if you only read Psychological Types by Carl Jung and Gifts Differing by Myers and Briggs (maybe taken a few courses) The awesome thing to note, however, is seeing how Dear Kristin has come to know these types more intimately and crafted more personal stories for them over such a short period of time as 3 years. Truly art becoming alive. There's so many avenues to go down in the future; pitting NTs against SFs at a baby shower, IPs against IJs at a LAN party. Different groups, I could go on. Peace and love!

The first of your videos I saw was "16 personalities monologuing in a party"! Since there I've seen your content frequently from Costa Rica n.n I would like to see "16 Personalities through the eyes of an ESFP". For real, it's your personality, Kristin, and we don't know how a stereotypically comedic ESFP sees us! XD XD I loved this video, it gave enough motivation to do something different today. Lately I've lacking of variety, and although I'm an ENFP, my autist side hasn't gotten accostumed to the new house. PS: Your "bye" at the end of this kind of videos is one of the cutest thing that exist in the world n_n

All of your videos are amazing!!! :D I've been watching since around the beginning of your "through the eyes of x type" videos, and it's been really cool to see your channel grow! I personally really like the videos that touch on cognitive functions in particular (it's really nice to see the different ways that other types perceive them), though I can't think of any specific ideas off the top of my head :)

The rainy day video is one of my favorites of all time. I think it had a lot to do with the time period. It had a cozy feeling that brought you into its world, so it feels more like a memory looking back than a video you watched. The raincoat ISTJ still cracks me up when thinking about it

ENTJ in lockdown definitely would not be rule following. Unless they believed strongly in it. (Or they were controlling the whole thing in an elaborate scheme while in kahoots with an INTJ) The Moana lyrics one will forever be my favorite Please do another one line per character video I like the interacting on a rainy day video because it feels very casual and I love that they all are just interacting with only other types

It was a major disease going around, so plenty of reason to reduce contact, stay somewhat apart from people, keep things clean, use masks, don't go out much, etc. to keep it spreading, until it was better understood and there were good ways to control and treat it.

Since you briefly mentioned videos that are lots of peoples favorites, I just wanted shout out the charades video. I think that one's my favorite of yours. It was impressive that you were able to portray 16 characters all in the same room convincingly and since they were all in the same scene together there were a lot of interesting dynamics.

14:47 At some point, this is *everyone* who's ever worked in a call center. Neither xNTP would even appear on camera; they wouldn't be caught dead in a sales job, tech support is their jam. Also, given the amount of typing generally involved in call center work, you'll rarely see a handset, it's all headsets.

Regarding your 'creativity well' drying up, it's OK to take a break now and then. INFJ here. I used to get invited to parties often because I knew a couple of 'the cool kids' who liked me for noticing them, as opposed to what they had to offer. So when I ended up at these parties, I didn't know anybody and I wasn't cool. I was kind of like the INTJ and INTP hiding in the pantry in your one video (listening to music and dancing- not playing chess), who would sometimes go check on my 'cool friends' that were there and mingle slightly with strangers for a minute. Unless I was drunk or on something. Then I was either crazy or funny, and people I wouldn't remember would certainly remember me. About 2 years of substances was all I needed to realize I should never drink, smoke or do anything mind altering. There's too much going on in this noggin. 😄

Thanks a lot ❤ For suggestions my favourite videos are the ones where the 16 personalities act with each other in conversation, for me that's the best part of the amazing videos like the rainy one or the genius or the kidnapping or the philosophers! Hahaha but to be honest as long as you make them with the passion these videos are going to be amazing, the tier ranking and through the eyes are pearls too hahaha Lots of love and I hope the best for you with everything that's going on in your life I'm amazed you're still able to post anything ahahahah

What a pleasant surprise! Gotta go watch your typing teas to determine what's the best type to match your super-pregnant energy. Thanks for doing this. I liked your "Explaining my INFJ video" even more than the, imo, 10/10 "16 Personalities Through the Eyes of the INFJ." Your "16 Personalities Interacting at a Winery" was my favorite 16 personalities skit you made before your "Kidnapping me" which is my all time favorite skit, so sweet to see it in the thumbnail! Hope you're well as well! Best type= Whatever your type is, Dear Kristin.

This may be more of a Me thing than an INFP thing, but I like the darkness. Oh, I wish KZbin's comment section let you add video clips, because that Star Wars dual between Stewie and Chris seems so fitting right now: "C'mon. Join the dark side. It's really cool." But in all honesty, I think the wisdom Galadriel got from her late brother (in "Rings of Power") explained this sentiment more accurately. Actually, maybe it's more of a UD|UF thing (the Winter version of an MBTI).

CONCEPT IDEA : I would love to have videos where you could help us identify our loved one's type! maybe your subscribers could send a video and you would "translate" the type or do video with a viewer and ask them question to identify their type.. i know i don't know how to identify my family member and i don't want to deep dive search but have real life exemples from other people would help.

ENTP here. About the lockdown it was so annoying when people were like oh no the government is controlling us like yes yes they are because you’re too dumb to make the right choices and we need to isolate and get vaccinated so we can protect people who are really at risk. I’m from Portugal and during the winter holidays we didn’t isolate as much and the months after were horrible, our health system collapsed and most of us lost someone either directly or indirectly to covid
