It gives me chills still seeing Lucas making the basket because they did that shot at the season one finale and Lucas missed the basket. So they intentionally gave Lucas the game winning shot again and he redeemed himself lol

The last time I took a CPR and first aid, they taught us that the American Heart Association advises chest compressions only rather than mouth to mouth, but that’s definitely not what was happening there. 😂

It really is probably the best episode of the show. Definitely in the top 5 for this show for me. I've rewatched this one more than a lot of them. But it's a 2 part episode really and i always have to watch the next episode too lol

Season 1 was the beginning of junior year so they graduated season 4. Basically each season was half a school year/summer break until season 5 where they did a 5 year jump

See, story lines like this, I used to stress me out and add drama in high school. But now that I understand more about medicine, I laugh at Lucus and think he is an idiot who if he has sudden cardiac death he was looking for it. And then his parents should feel blame. How do you let your son take his pill that he needs to survive every day in a locker room? Teenagers are notoriously unreliable, that's why they're not trusted to make decisions for themselves; it's not in them to make great decisions.

I know this is an old video but you kept saying they look like they can really play basketball and yes they do because they were required to be able to play basketball well before landing their roles lol the actor who plays Nathan recently said on the drama queens podcast (a OTH rewatch podcast done by the 3 main women on the show) they told him “if you want this job you better show up and show us you can really play and beat the other people trying out for the job” and the actor who plays Skills is a real life basketball player and real life coach so he’s amazing.

Another of those teenage shows I used to watch. I actually liked the first 4 or so seasons. The latter ones weren't that good, problem is that these teens now were ~adults but still were acting like tv show characters do. The last 2 or 3 seasons were really bad. 9 seasons is horribly long. You cannot drag the love back and forth to infinity and back. One thing most of these teen shows have in common is that they have at least a couple of annoying characters, love stories and self sabotaging. I have my issues but I wouldn't swap places with any of these characters because their weekly drama is too much to bare. 😁 You should react to Friday Night Lights. Only 5 seasons. They did a well job integrating the football into the show. This was actually a show I liked mostly during its entire run. My problem with the end of the episode is that it is sooooo over the top that you really have to be into OTH to be able to take an accident of a pregnant woman, her husband punching a guy dead, his brother breaking down seriously. I knew that a dramatic ending was coming because OTH did these kind of overdramatic cliffhangers often enough. It's a soap opera. You enjoy it most if you just accept everything as it is without questioning anything anyone does. "One of the worst dads on tv". 👹

@@notthemovie very much so but she also had some of the saddest storylines regarding parents and stalkers. I recommend watching the earlier seasons if you’re interested. They’re really good, especially 1 & 3!
