The whole first season is setting up the whole rest of the anime, that’s why people say it’s a slow burn, but considering each season is 12 episodes it’s not awful, solo leveling will have 4-5 seasons MAYBE 6

But the whole manwha is based off of a light novel, so if anything they could free ball it.

As a die hard Solo Leveling reader.... saying it will go down as Top 3 shonen of all time is crazy 😂. Its basically just low isekai power fantasy. I will say it is probably Top 3 greatest shonen power fantasy of all time, but shonen as a whole is a bit too steep of a climb for what is, at the end of the day, a super straight forward story with simplistic characters and limited character growth (outside of power).

Yeah, and also there are just so many web novels using the same tropes (underdog + a program to get strong + climbing to the top) as solo leveling that it's hard to get interested in another story that's basically the same. Sure, this novel might be the first in its genre, and heck, it might even be the reason why the trope became so popular. But now, its too late and I've had read so many similar stories that I don't need another one.
