I actually have a little theory that Alicorns loose power as they age, like they have a set amount of magic that gets used up the more and longer they use it After all, Celestia is the eldest Alicorn and thus has spent most of her powers over a THOUSAND YEAR PERIOD OF RAISING THE MOON AND SUN Then there's Luna who has great power but was locked up in the moon and likely did not age or use her magic at all during that time.... so her magic is still pretty powerful Cadence and Twilight are the newest of the alicorns and they have magic for days.... the things they can do is down right outragous sometimes.... And now we have Flurry Heart.. a baby alicorn who has yet to use her power for anything... she's basically a tiny magical bomb.

I actually like watching reviews after the episode has been out for a few months. The brony fandom tends to be super-hyper whenever a new episode or development happens, which makes me want to actually avoid the episode in question until it's gone into the "passe valley." I watched Season Four like this, and I am about to watch most of Season Five like this, probably seeing Silver Quill or other reviewers takes on the episodes once I am done. I feel really alone in this aspect, but hey, it's the way I like to watch pony.

5 Alicorns!? At the beginning of the show we had 2, making them rare and precious. Then we got cadence and I honestly wasn't thrilled, but I excepted it and moved on. THEN TWILIGHT GROWS A PAIR OF WINGS, AND NOW THIS! Ok, I know I'm being a bit over dramatic and all, but Alicorn are starting to lose there rarity. I get that there are only 5, but at the start we had 2. But the funny thing is that all of them have a reason and purpose. Except for cadence. The sisters are like gods and are ment to exist. Cadence really has no purpose, but to be pink and pretty. As for twilight, she earned her wings through hard work and dedication. I'm just not comfortable with the offspring of a unicorn and an Artificial Alicorn being an Alicorn. But, then again, we only see her for like, 5 seconds and don't know anything about her. So I'm excited and disappointed all at the same time.

Chrysalis defeated Celestia only when she was being powered by the relationship between Shining and Cadence. That force seems to be at a Magic Mcguffin level similar to the Elements and other Alicorn princesses. When the newlyweds wrest that power back, they can trounce the Changelings. There's no exact power level numbers or anything, but it's plausible that having that added to a sorceress queen like Chrysalis can overcome Celestia.

Ok I really don't think it's out of the question to have it that the baby has magical outbursts like baby unicorns just to a much larger degree while yes it was kinda pathetic to see even in the short time the trailer showed us that they were struggling to control it but I think that unicorn foals only know how to be handled because the parent expected it to happen I'm pretty sure they expected it but didn't expect it to that degree because a baby Alicorn hasn't been born for about....mm....1,200 years? Maybe and no one still alive remembers baby Alicorns why? Because Celestia and Luna were those baby Alicorns and I think it's safe to say they don't remember being baby's Plus I find it absolutely hilarious that such a small and seemingly innocent think could probably blow up a whole kingdom. Beautiful.

Okay I like to categorize Reviewers based on video types. Dr.wolf is a Reviewer who uses short videos that talk about the episode and will point out things that are interesting, KP is a reviewer who uses humor while keeping it short, Firebrand you are a mid range usually keeping below 20 minutes but able to add humor but keeping it serious at the same time which I call it the Ace Venture style review. Now Silver Quill reviews stay between 20 - 30 minutes and this is call Episode Time slot meaning it takes longer to edit but once done it was worth the wait and you do have your bad reviews just like TV episodes and Silver's review style is what I call Family friendly Monty Python. Basically meaning you use slap stick and a bit of adult humor but keep it to the level of everyone can watch. and Now Golden Fox's video stay around the 20 minute mark but use the same style as Firebrand but less Explosions you also mix Silver Quill type humor in too which does make it unique. Now there is one more type of review and I call it the Nostalgia Critic style meaning you are more willing to make a video that entertains but also informs viewers. Also you have a high abundance of anger and are friends with the Devil. That was a messed up review but funny at the same time. oh sorry thought about the Spawn Review. Anyways Nostalgia critic Style also uses the Live Action role player formula meaning you talk about the episode or movie but also use visual effects and this fits with Firebrand also. Oh I mean Josh. Now I am sorry that this post was long but it was my thoughts and if I missed anything please dont be afraid too reply. Au Revoir Croissants until we meet again in the future.

I fully agree with Mario's creator. I don't like it when companies release games early when they know that the game is not complete and with bugs I'm looking at the backers of Mighty No 9😠. They're complaining that the game is being delayed multiple times so what? Sure the main game is finished but small developers rely on reviews heavily because they're small compared to big Triple a developers like EA Games and Nintendo and Capcom.

I mean yes like Firebrand showed some games that take a lot of time to come out aren't that good but there's been far too many games pushed out before they're fine tuned that us gamers are now more critical then ever cause we have so much doubt on the game being any good when it comes out wither it's taken a year or ten plus (looking at you Kingdom Hearts 3) to make. Though Nintendo has been doing pretty well with getting their own games out on time and with little to no problems so we do at least have one company we can still count out when it deals with giving us quality made games even if said company aims mostly for the family/casual crowd. Now as for my thoughts on Mighty No 9, I don't mind the wait especially since they're giving us reasons as to why it's being delayed compared to companies that do this and don't say a thing to us on it. Also I've seen via another comment on this, the people who paid to get this game made got basically every goal reached thus the company has no choice but to add these features to the game because it is part of those deals and not adding them would be dishonest to the people that denoted for those goals and to the fans of the game that do want them. Also there's like no way they can add it later cause they are doing this themselves and have to directly add it to the game disk (like every game does) and unlike other companies they can't do an update download. It has to be done before it's release or it won't get on at all and it would become a missed goal. Plus if they waited to add it, it mean re-releasing the game and (minus re-releases of old games for the next gen systems) I'm pretty sure that the majority of us gamers are sick and tired of companies re-releasing a current like game with a few features or whatever added to it that could of been added when the game was first released. So yeah we can wait for this.

Now yes it's partly cause they didn't complete the game and other stuff like that but even with that many of them are just not good which is disappointing (like I had high hopes for Order 88 then I saw a couple videos from a KZbinr I like and was glad I never pre-ordered it like I had planned to) and then there's ones that are good but don't get a sequel cause they didn't sell well mostly thanks to stupid so-called reviewers bashing it for stupid reasons. (this gripe also goes for good games that are sequels)

I am one of those guys who is like "By all means take the time you need instead of putting pressure on yourselves, I don't need a review right after an episode aired, I can enjoy it equally no matter how much time has passed." In fact I like it even better if the review comes later, because then the episode gets refreshed in my mind. A review of a season 1 episode that includes some comments on future development can be fun, too. Since it's not the first time I've heard about fans wanting instant-reviews I seem to be in the minority hear, which is very unfortunate. Also I'm under the impression that the faster you go, the more fans who demand even faster updates you will get and vice versa. I subscribed to a bunch of slow updaters and occasionally one of them updates, which I enjoy a lot, and the rest of the time I do other things with my life. I'd say: Leave the quick updates to DrWolf and keep doing those awesome collabs with him so you share your respective fans with each other.

I'm loving late speaking analysis' like Silver Quill and (now) Firebrand. A good show is one where we can keep talking about it long after its aired. By having these guys talk about these episodes much later, it gives us an easy reason to look back and even re-watch these episodes. It also helps us see how well these episodes have aged. Okay, I gave wise insight on an issue. Now give me back my techno chicken.

Dear Silver Quill, Golden Fox, and Commander Firebrand, Perhaps it's just me, but I actually love going back watching or even re-watching reviews of past seasons and episodes. Maybe I'm overly sentimental or maybe not, hard to say, but regardless the reviews are continuously entertaining and I gain a little more appreciation for each individual perspective on specific episodes each time I see them. The humor, intellectual points, creativity, and emotional context of each of your respective videos only adds to the re-watch-ability for me. Honestly I've probably watched each of your pony review videos at least two or three times a piece just in the last six months, and I can't help but love them each time. The visual gags, the interactions between yourselves or other analysts in your collaboration and companion videos, and the hard work you put in to make sure you're creating quality entertainment for your viewers and subscribers just really gives me reason to not only admire you all but respect you as well. Mind as the three of you likely know (as I'm sure I've asked all three of you for advice or feedback in the last month) I've been working in my spare time to gradually make my own OC a little better and trying to develop my own format so I can join the community of reviewers / analysts, and even in spite of this I don't allow your own reviews to effect my own view point for when I do my reviews but rather offer a better set of constructive pros and cons to either enhance points I felt while re-watching an episode or to find something that Might help me better understand the P.O.V. of those who would disagree. The work you do helps me to take a few moments and see what has already been done, and what I can possibly do that is similar but different enough to not be considered a rip off. And since I'm a changeling, I kind of have additional pressure to not be a copycat (ironic isn't it?). Anyways, you three and the rest of the community shouldn't allow that pressure to get to you too badly. We, your fans, understand that you can only get so much work done in any set amount of time. And honestly we look forward to your content even if it does seem to be a little behind schedule. The way I see it taking your time just gives us better quality and you more time to figure out what you want to do and say in your reviews. But, that's just my opinion of course. Please, keep up the excellent work and don't lose faith in yourselves over the pressures of the field. And Silver Quill, sir, I relate to yoru early start since well the only bronies I know are online. I've never even had a chance to go to a brony con or any type of "con" at all. I'm, to my knowledge, the only brony in my immediate area, and since the only "friends" I have are online as well it makes things a little awkward as well as lonely whenever I try to talk about my passion for MLP with anybody face to face. Sorry about that, guess I went off on a brief tangent. Anyways, thank you all of you for your hard work in creating content for us to enjoy. this maybe late but I do have a theory as to why Celestia seems to be weak. main thing being is she's has been having to move the moon and the sun while Luna was banished and due to the fact two alicorns are needed to do that successfully celesita may have also have had to use magic to keep Luna locked away on the moon during that time. the poor girl is most likely running rather low on the magic side of things. so yes she is beaten but it maybe due to her having been weakened due to the large amount of magic output needed during luna's banishment. but that's just my personal theory

9:39 I have a headcanon for that. We've seen how a pony alone is not as strong as ponies together, or more specifically, that a pony's individual strength can actually increase if they're standing with their loved ones. A sort of 'whole is greater than sum of their parts' thing. And it evidently really matters which loved ones: Twilight and her friends, Shining Armor and Cadance, you know what I mean. Their relationship is such that that come as a 'set'; if Twilight is without those specific five friends, they can't wield their full power, even if she has the help of other loved ones. Even the comics went into that. But for Celestia, that pony with whom she bonds and can achieve great feats with would be Luna, right? And she was separated from Luna for an obscenely long time, doing the job of both alicorns and protecting Equestria alone. I think of this like two organisms in a symbiotic relationship being forced to do without each other in an even harsher environment than usual. Most would die in those conditions. In Celestia's case, it left her weakened. Dr Wolf speculated that Celestia is growing weaker; I think she is, and that is why. She was cut off from somepony she needed and stretched to the limit of her ability for a thousand years; anypony would be diminished magically after that. True, Luna's back with her now, but I imagine she can't recover straight away. I chalk Celestia's repeated losses and apparent lack of power up to her still being on the mend from Luna's banishment.

I don't mine if you guys are behind. I love you guys being late! It just means more content in the long run. After watching episodes, I got things like real life and other mlp fan work to watch. So when you do get your reviews done, it gives me something new to watch. I'm very patient but I hope other fans can relax and thing more about all the hard work that you do and your own life's as well.

+Nadodan Also as one viewer the time after the episode premieres and when the review comes out has never really affected my enjoyment of the analysis, heck I've only become a fan of your recently but I have watched most of your videos and a lot of your reviews are many seasons back. However I may just be someone who enjoys analysis, and may not be representative of all within the fandom. I don't think Season 6 coming out will affect my enjoyment of any Season 5 videos, and I'll still view them as relevant, even with the new episodes coming out, while eagerly awaiting videos on the new episodes as well.
