Finally watching someone recognize Hayley, Elijah and Jackson's mistakes and understanding Klaus rather than trying to demonize him....coz truly Hayley was the one stealing the chance of Klaus raising his daughter.....Also love that u still find humor in the series despite it being dark

The depth of their betrayal, considering who they betrayed - They ALL got off lightly. TVD Klaus would of killed every single member of Haileys pack leaving her alone without access to Hope and put all his siblings in a box for at least a century.

i know that Gia's death seens extreme but we talking about Klaus, extreme is the only way he Knows and even to every single one of then betrayed him, the betrayl that hurts the most is Elijah's because he's the one Klaus trust the most

I get where ur coming from but he has done way worse to them for centuries and they always forgive him very time, he abused Rebekah for decades, continuously daggers Elijah and after all the crap Klaus puts them through both Elijah and Rebekah stayed loyal to him. They did this one "act of betrayal" and it wasn't even for themselves it was for their niece and he goes balastic, obviously in the end it was a plan he created and he didn't intentionally want to punish them but he still killed Gia and Elijah cared for her deeply and klaus still did it...Elijah desrevs the world he get's put through so much at the hands of Klaus.

Elijah daggered Klaus and then when he found out Hayley was never coming back, he did nothing. He took away the thing Klaus loved most away. Only after Elijah gave his word he would watch Hayley and Hope. Then broke his word and daggered him. I love Elijah but if Klaus killed him with white oak i would understand.

@@Igorteddede.... Thsts not the same at all.. Elijah physically beat Klaus saying you wont walk away. I will stand by you i will be your brother. Now that Klaus cares they try to use his daughter against him. Then now Klaus daughter is born and he genuinely loves her more then anything. They daggered him and left his daughter un protected. Then never intend him to be with his daughter ever again... Nothing Klaus ever did is comparable to this. Unless you have a child you cant understand this.

Thing is, would Klaus have figured it out if Dahlia hadn't pulled him into her head to learn her secrets? And would she have done that if he hadn't been daggered? Klaus is smart, but there was also a fair bit of luck/Dahlia playing herself involved. Klaus did go too far in his vengeance, but when does he not? The man's psychotic, and if he was killable it would probably be the smart thing to do for the safety of everyone else. But betraying an evil genius who can't be killed was always going to end badly.

exactly this elijah has watched klaus dismantle and torture everyone who has stood againest or attacked the family he knows how much smarter klaus is compared to the rest of them but still let his feelings for hayley cloud his judgement he knew that before he daggered him that if it came out klaus would take his pound of flesh from everyone who acted againest him yet elijah let his emotions steer him into thinking he could somehow contain Klaus when he hasn't been able to do it for 1010 years.

Klaus never has broken the vow. He daggered his siblings for many reasons but most importantly it was to keep them together. Elijah literally beat Klaus until he admitted he cared for his unborn child. Now Klaus cares and admits he cares. So Elijah tried to take away his Daughter forever......

klaus has def broken that vow and done terrible things to his siblings regardless of his excuse it was wrong. he gets daggered once and acts like hes the victim in all of this, he often goes too far, finds someone to blame and refuses to see his fault in the situations. forever is also a huge stretch, hes immortal and atp in the story hes not dying anytime soon.

@@san6984 Regardless if it being actually forever or not, his siblings tried to take his child away. Agree or diss agree with Klaus he never actually tried to remove his family from one another. In fact he admittedly did the opposite. The vow is to stick together as one always and forever...... Taking away his child breaks that. Him daggering them to stop them from leaving or killing someone they loved to preemptively to stop them from wanting to leave i dont necessarily agree with these behaviors but all of those things do not break the vow.

i think your missing the point tho your life and consent are completely separate issues from the vow klaus never broke his word to any of his siblings the fact they worded all their desires poorly is not 100% on him and by trying to take his daughter away from him they actively sided againest him while also breaking their vow like rebekah broke it 100 years before this and klaus nearly ended her for the way she did it but elijah trying to take hope considering klaus is klaus it is extremely shocking hayley the wolfs and 90% of those involved diden't end up dead. at the end of the day they are all monsters that at current point isn't the issue it's the fact after 1000 years both his closest family broke the pact multiple times before he broke it once.@@san6984

Daggering Klause is 5% the reason he's so mad at Elijah when he listened to the phone call and seen that Elijah let Hailey leave with Hope and Elijah was going to let Hailey run away forever with hope he broke the bond of always and forever being together Hope became apart of the bond and Elijah promised him he wouldn't let Hope and Hailey out of sight Klaus is punishing Elijah for letting Hailey take Hope not Daggering him

"Unfair?" Y'all acting like he stepped on his favorite butterfly. Foh. Klaus only got the secrets because of Dahlia. They were implementing the very same plan Klaus had - Elijah only figured out what he was doing, tried to join him, but he preferred to alienate everyone trying to help, with this delusional notion that ONLY he can save Hope. And in the end, needed them to help him carry out his plans. When has Elijah not sided with him, no matter how devious the plan is? This dude is an egomaniac sociopath with coping issues. And this is who y'all love so much. He is a genius, and I love that he is complicated. Bit that doesn't excuse one bit the countless suffering he unleashes on both his foe and friends. Even Stefan got tired of his bullshit, and actually went mad himself trying to level up to his insanity.

Klaus is the maker of his domain. Let's not forget that the only reason the baby is in danger is the name Michelson. I get H completely, Klaus is the best carracter in this show, but let's not make our judgement of him be clouded, he did what he decided to do without a second thought of anyone else....that's why you love him even though he is wrong in many ways. Excellent character writhing.

trust is not a very familiar word among the Michaelsons. However, betrayal is a tradition! Hayley really fit into the family. But no matter what we say, with Gia Klaus went too far! Both then and now I get chills from what happened.

The show always highlights how awful klaus was to Rebecca by killing every guy she ever liked but they don't highlight how he did the same thing to Elijah, klaus killed/caused the death of almost every woman Elijah loved except for tatia, klaus killed celest, klaus caused haley to get killed in season 1's penultimate episode, in which elijah tells him " i needed her and you broken me" and here Klaus killed Gia, and we wonder why Elijah puts his gaurds up with haley and is afraid to let her in! Klaus killing his siblings significant others is beyond cruel and inexcusable, imagine if either Rebecca or Elijah killed cami in a fit of rage as revenge for whatever klaus did to them this week, unacceptable

on the one hand taking out gia seems rather excessive and unfair on the other hand considering the wolfs tried to aid in the stealing of his daughter the fact he let them live instead of skinning everyone is sort of a improvement for him and i kind of think tbh Elijah shouldn't have been calling shots when he is emotionally imbalanced and biased towards Hayley. a blind man could see she was gonna run with jackson so elijah was gonna have to leave klaus daggered forever or let them suffer when he awakes he never thought the plan through and it cost everyone klaus was overdramatic but elijah for being 1013 or something was acting like a lovestruck moron.@@elisabethwiberg442
