After this season, I remember wishing for Elijah to leave and find his own happiness away from Klaus. He deserves better than to have a brother like Klaus.

Yup same, klaus doesn't deserve anything, Elijah always puts him first and look what he gets for return, a dagger in his chest or People around him getting killed by klaus because of his jealousy etc.

@@divinelangene6813 And what's the excuse for all the other horrible things Klaus has made Elijah go thru?... Also, Klaus' own actions and behavior FROM THE BEGGINING OF SEASON 2 solidified the divide between not only Elijah and Klaus, but between everybody else and Klaus... He treated Hayley like shit from the get go about the pack and about Hope, so it is rich for Klaus to complain about Hayley "acting like Hope's sole parent" when he spend months banging his chest about how he is the only one who protects Hope and telling Hayley, the mother of the child, that he is the only one who decides about the baby and that no one is above him BTW This isn't a validation of Hayley's choices; I've never supported her taking away Hope the way she did, but the reasons are there and are understandable... This is about pretending that Klaus is any sort of "victim" or that he is free of blame

@kalpthaker1014 but you are missing all the context of the situation... this whole problem, this whole situation of mistrust that created distance and a divide between Klaus and everyboby else, was Klaus own doing... not just in his reaction towards Freya or his idiotic confession of having killed that werewolf, but from the very begging of the season he has been alienating people bit by bit, specially Hayley with his treatment towards her, her pack and his constant invalidation of Hayley's role as Hope's mother with his several instances of saying that only he gets to decide what happens with the child... this all factors into Hayleys decision... was it a smart decision? No, but the reasons are there and they are not only valid but 100% correct, how the mikaelson family is a constant source of danger for the child and how Klaus himself is the biggest culprit for this... She hit the nail the head with her comment about how Klaus and his past and his personality are the real threat to Hope's safety... We can go ahead and start pointing even recent situations where thats the case... so yeah, was it the right call to make? No, but it is understandable why Hayley saw it that way and how the more reasonable and less paranoid members of the family at least understood that even if they didn't agree Also, lets not pretend that the only way that they could've dealt with Dhalia was with this crazy rogue plan of Klaus "i can do it all" that, like elijah put so well, once again Klaus used her own family as puppets and broke them up in order to break the enemy... they could've easily worked together on a much better plan if Klaus wasn't so paranoid, and we know that for a fact now that we went past it... like we also know for a fact that Klaus actions are not as noble as you paint them, of him "saving Hayley", given what she has to endure and the role Klaus plays (or doesn't play) on it... so, like I said, was it right what they did? No, it wasn't; but that was a situation created by Klaus through out the entire season, mistreating and alienating people one by one

I didn't think that. That was actually a smart move to play on the emotions of the villain if you can't beat them physically. + the way Klaus was ruthless only to defeat Dahlia is just a brillant move to prove why Klaus win so many battles in thousand years. oh, and it's still better than the four last seasons of TVD
