Been there, and done it Paul. Ultra relaxing being able to sit on the promenade deck, en route between San Francisco and Auckland...all the while counting the enormous numbers of bottles, canisters and other plastic detritus floating by. I was shocked, and dismayed. No doubt, it detracted from the enjoyment of the voyage.

That sounds like a great cruise from San Francisco to Auckland. There would have been lots of days at sea which I like.
