Exactly what I would've noted: footwork. He's effortless. There are occasions where he simply walks around the court. There are other times where he deliberately dives where he needn't have and instantly recovers. I'd argue Axelsen is close behind. Although I will not deny Lin Dan and Chen Long are up there with the greatest of all time, I wouldn't say their footwork was better than LCW.

I once watched an exhibition match between LCW and peter gade when i was a teen. It was a core memory of mine. They were so entertaining to watch. No dead moments.
