The t-rex arms is a sensory overload thing. It is hard to explain to someone who has never experienced it, but the way I feel it, it's like my body gets into this fight-or-flight response whenever there's too much going on, and my arms just comes up like I'm trying to square up with the overstimulation. But I'm also relaxed, so the hands are just floppy instead of fists.
