I grew up with people speaking about how DLC would lead to content being cut just to be done later, then I didn't believe them and by the time I was able to learn it P2W started to show up and I spoke against it, then Loot Boxes became common as people spoke against it then Season Passes became a thing where things were 10x as expensive and people speak against it. We live in this perpetually shifting window, designed to exploit people and turn them against each other so we don't notice who the real enemy is. The sad truth is we've seen this in history yet it is happening. In note worthy places like North America they treat schools terribly as this makes it harder to learn. Turn the people into sheep through pledging allegiance and only giving them information that makes them heroes and fight others. Take advantage of this blindness to win.

Finn's entire arc is learning to control his emotions. If you watch the older seasons, Finn is a VERY angry and emotional kid. He constantly lashes out, doesnt know boundaries, and is quick to engage in violence. As the series goes on he learns to channel these emotions after if causes turmoil in his relationships. When Fern comes along, he's Finn before his character development. Hes still angry and doesn't understand his place in the world. The finale has Finn and Fern challenging their demons and healing themselves

He's essentially the Grass Wizard's creation that took on Finn's memories and basic shape to become humanoid. So not even technically related/family in the true sense. Fern truly was his own person, and Finn should have been better at recognizing that. Seemed kind of weird for Finn to refer to Fern as "Finn-boy" when confronting the Grass Demon.

It's truly sad because it's really Finn, just from a difference timeline. It's like knowing your Finn, having the personality and memories of Finn since birth, but no one acknowledges you as the "real" Finn. Yeah it's the same as waking up tomorrow and noticing there's another you in the house. He looks exactly the same as you, acts the same, is the same. Then you look into the mirror and realise you don't look like you. And if that isn't enough, you have a nasty curse in you that messes with your already conflicted emotions. Even when you look in the mirror and you don't look like you, no matter what way you still think you're real because you are. It's a terrifying concept and poor Fern went through all that and when he finally came to terms with himself, he died... It's truly sad.

Bro I didn’t even want to watch this again, here’s my story. I watched adventure time when I was a small kid probably around 10 years old. After 12 I got into drugs long story short I never finished the show nor thought of it till now I am 18 years old. I’ve watched the whole show season 1 to Season 10 ep 13. When I watch this again it makes me think of all the bad times I’ve had and how death is a concept we don’t realize is deep till the person we love is gone, then we realize our own mortality and think where they go or why they don’t come back. Because let’s be real we don’t know where they go or comeback. I just know adventure helped me fix my broken childhood I never had because I grew up too fast and never got to be a kid since I was a drug addict as an adolescent. And when I watched it, I literally felt like a kid again it was a feeling you just can’t explain but simply feel good in it! It felt like eternal bliss! But now that’s ending and I’m realizing that I won’t have a childhood and that it is ok and I can move on and become an adult and face the challenges ahead no kid has to face. I cried if I’m completely transparent, I weeped finishing adventure time because it was like a piece of my childhood and only piece was ripped out and thrown and became something you can look back on but never go back to. So that’s my story, that’s what adventure time means to me. Many don’t care and that’s fine but if you read this Just know everything is gonna be ok..🖤 Thank You, Adventure Time, And Farewell.

I know watching this now, Adventure Time was deeper than just the surface. As a kid I fell in love with the plot the art, the characters but looking back, seeing how there was heartbreak, tragedy, so many deep moments. Fern as a character is just so sad to think about. It’s literally just finn but in a grass body, he’s not a fake Finn, he’s literally the Finn we all know but in a grass body. Imagine being you your whole life, and then one day you wake up to find yourself being shunned and antagonized because you’re an alleged demon version of somebody else. All the friends u thought were friends act like they don’t know you, all the things you enjoyed you no longer can experience, and then you have to compare yourself to the “real” version of you just to find out you’re inferior in every way, even tho up until this point that person was you. And it hurts even more when characters like jake force themselves to treat fern like an equal, and then probably makes fern feel even worse because he can tell nobody wants anything to do with him, except Finn, which is the person fern lost his humanity to essentially. Such a miserable existence, this may sound bad but it was probably for the best that he ended up losing his life at the very end, because even though he ended up slaying the demon that made him malicious, it still would’ve more or less been the same life.

The saddest part to me is that Fern WAS Finn. As in he was more Finn than the Finn that survived, since he was essentially the embodiment and soul of Finn, which is why it was so frustrating for him that he couldn't be Finn. However the only reason Fern was able to exist was because of the Grassword Curse, since it altered him and made him technically not Finn. However the minute Finn freed him, Fern would technically be Finn once again... and two Finns cant exist. In the end he was brought into a world where he couldn't exist as himself, while everyone else praised someone that was him, but that he wasn't allowed to be... And in the end, he had to pay the ultimate price. I love you Fern I loved you for who you were.
