@@jazzymoni7750 It was quite incredible to see a perceived merciless killer express such emotion. Leana had to command her countless times and each Vhagar looked at her with sorrow and confusion. But I feel Vhagar knew what was up, just so sad that Laena wanted to die. It even hits home when 12 year old Laena had a very high esteem and respect for Vhagar.

Just remember that Emma and Olivia were casted before Milly and Emily. It's just we saw the latter pair first. How Olivia portrays Alicent is accurate. Emily made us sympathize for her.

I realise two things from this sacrifice. 1. Laena did it for her daughter, so she can claim her dragon and 2. Vhagar sensed after a while that the child was dead and she wasn't going live if she had delivered. On another note, who knew Daemon had it in him to be a good father 🙈.

The point you mentioned about the hair being dark brown/black is obviously the matter of dominant genes.

I disagree with the assertion that it's problematic regarding Rhaenyra's not being Laenor's. They are in line for the Throne through their mom and clearly he has no problem with the arrangement. Corlys might have an issue but he's also in denial. In Robert's case Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen are only in line because they are believed to be Baratheons if it'd been known that they were Lannisters well Bobby B's morning star might find Jamie's head in the morning.

We must really appreciate how Queen Alicent's character from a soft-hearted,innocent one depicted by emily turned into a very different and arrogant personality...now this show is going to be interesting..alot of new characters beheading,many will die,suddenly you'll get attached to one and that person will unpredictably die of any circumstance... Thank you sir George R.R Martin for writing such a terrific novel with so much grace and surprises... a wonderful job done by the HOD team ...this show is going to be huge more than GOT series .. She commented that “The last ring has no legs at all”… one might think she was simply talking about the millipede itself, but I think that is either a prophetic statement about Bran Stark or her brother/husband Aegon… they both have horrific accidents that leave their legs useless and them unable to walk…

Why am I on Team Black? It's not mainly because of Daemon, Rhaenyra, House Velaryon, or any of their dragons. It's not about which one is the most righteous or virtuous group. It's because Viserys CHOSE Rhaenyra as his next heir and people should abide to them. That's his WILL and people should obey them. It doesn't matter if Rhaenyra has bastard children from Harwin. It's about Rhaenyra being the Queen. It doesn't matter what Otto feels about having a female ruler. Doesn't matter what Alicent or the viewers feel about Rhaenyra and questions about her character. Follow the rules. And surprisingly, Alicent didn't. *SPOILER* *ALERT* Viserys dies and while Rhaenyra was living in Dragonstone, Alicent didn't bother to tell her and had Aegon rule. That's messed up. Some of you folks can root for the Greens and that's fine. I'm usually the type who doesn't pick the popular group. But in this case, I am. The Blacks have the right to fight back since Rhaenyra was supposed to be the Queen. But the Greens initiated the war, drew first blood, and did the most damage. So go root for the greater killers than Daemon and Cersei.

THIS!!! Why is it so difficult for folks to comprehend? The King chose HIS SUCCESSOR AND IT WAS RHAENYRA. The end. Yet Alicient pushes and pushed for her son.. who DIDNT EVEN WANT THE THRONE. Alicient is no better than Otto. Otto manipulated Viserys into choosing Rhaenyra to spite Daemon.... and was salty he couldn't manipulate him into changing his mind once a son was born. He (Otto) started this whole thing and I'll never forget that. Team Black all day.

Will every season cover different eras of Targaryen reign? If so, we got Baelor, Aegon 4th and the Blackfyre Rebellions and the three eyed raven backstory, Egg, young Aemon and Dunk, and maybe a whole season or two dedicated to Aryes 2nd, Rhaegar and Roberts Rebellion. If done right, this may take the greatest tv show of all time title that Dumb and Dumber denied GoT

I really think the whole series (no matter how seasons are going to be) are going to show every Westeros king since Viserys and Rhaenyra 'til the mad King, probably the Baratheon rebellion. They must do it. So this show it's probably going to be longer than GOT. It would be amazing to end the show at least in the beginning of the rebellion against the Mad King. Aaaa

Alicent's character comes across a bit too strong.... it feels overly dramatic then the rest of the characters, as if the actress is overacting the character. I get that she is fighting for her children but there's no tact in her portrayal everything is hanging of her facials. As a viewer you want to feel the emotions without even having to hear a word from their mouth. But with this Alicent its written on her every facial expression, her EYES and the tone in her voice, with the younger Alicent you'd have to guess what's going on in head and she's calm and collected, these are always the dangerous types

The only reason I am going to give this show one more episode, is because of Daemon. IMHO he is the only redeeming portion of episode 6 and he was not in it enough. ... I did not like this episode at all. I'm going to watch one more episode and if it doesn't drastically change my mind then I'm through with it. A lot of people did not like the last season of game of thrones, and I am really not enjoying this prequel. I spent months and months looking forward to this series and I am so disappointed.

Aegon II is badly injured in battle twice in the book. The first time breaking a hip. The second, both his legs. He cannot walk after that, cannot ascend the steps of the Iron throne and has to rule from a wooden cushioned seat with a blanket covering his legs. Perhaps a reference to that?

They were able to cuz off circulation and maybe control bleeding from an arm and give milk of the poppy. C-section is was more intense have to cut through a few layers and get the baby and afterbirth. Idk I remember seeing it in GOT

Actually no it makes sense - u dont just have to open the patient - u need to deliver the afterbirth in total or risk hemorrhage; reconstruct the uterus (a very vascular organ) and do this abdominal procedure without an infection. You can cut off an appendage on the battlefield

*An* *Ode* *To* *Olivia* *Cooke* Olivia has these big, beautiful eyes and I love how wide she opens them in this episode. This Alicent is just way more assertive and confident. She'll wield her power and utter savage lines. Before the series aired, I only knew of Olivia and Rhys Ifans. I know Olivia from Ready Player One. Not from Bates Motel that she's more known for. I'm watching a scene from Ready Player One as we speak and I still can't believe that's the same actress portraying Alicent! She plays an American so well like she's from here and not from the UK. It's weird because the more we are supposed to hate Alicent, the more I like her. My fav moment from Olivia was when Alicent yelled at Aegon and said, "YOU ARE THE CHALLENGE! But you can see Rhaenyra's eyes that she did have feelings for Alicent in the six seconds pause looking at her. In fact, he's only this way because Rhaenyra broke his heart. And I can understand him being an a-hole to Harwin and his sons being he's jealous of him that he got to bed Rhaenyra many more times and he got shot down badly. Didn't expect Criston to become an incel. I still enjoyed watching Harwin beat the crap outta him!

Even in Westeros, the king is NOT above the law. The laws and precedents of Westeros are that the first male descendent comes before the female. And Rhaenyra is so despicable as to undermine the entire basis for the Targaryen dynasty - Valyrian bloodlines and ancestry that link their family with the power of dragons. By having bastards that are clearly not the sons of Laenor, Rhaenyra has undermined the legitimacy of her own rule before it even began.

When it furthers the public good and is done for principle and not just to sate your personal desires. That is why you can marry your Targaryen relative - to maintain the blood lines tied to the ruling dynasty and its blood magic over dragons. But having your daughter have sex with whomever she chooses undermines the legitimacy of her marriage and marital alliances. Unacceptable.

I felt the episode was off and badly edited for the season it lacked depth. It would have been amazing if it stared with a voice over from milly(young Rhaenyra) like they did in the first with old rhaneyra voice over to bind the story it just looked weird seeing 10 years after without basic story telling it takes away from the plot so much.

The layout of the rooms at Harrenhall weren't clear at all to the viewer during the fire, so we couldn't really feel the dire dread of Otto when he realized there was a fire AND we didn't even know his son was in the next room (like, how did they have connecting rooms yet no way to escape out of another exit...and hello...windows?)...or was it a hallway or something? There was slim to NO build up of suspense because we didn't even know the spies were there setting fires...the whole scene was just done TERRIBLY and was a waste of visually producing a tragic, dramatic event.

@@balthazarmayrena600 The what?? We needed way more exposition. That was like, the first time we had even been inside Harrenhall. And all of a sudden it's being set on fire? I was so confused why they burned like that next to eachother but separated by a wall because I had no concept of the structure/layout/plot that was being portrayed. As far as I know, they both had ways of exiting through windows or doors or hallways...it was not thoroughly shown to the viewer why and how they were trapped and also how they were trapped right next to one another which is what was supposed to make the scene so dramatic. Like, the most we get was a beam or something (?) wedged against the door preventing Otto from opening his bedchamber door to save Harwyn? That makes no sense in multiple ways, and I'm almost positive that I'm not interpreting the scene correctly but that's not my fault because it was not shown very clearly. This isnt the type of thing that you want to confuse the viewer about [confusing the viewer is a cheap trick anyway that's only used when they have no better way of making a scene interesting].
