Definitely the mostly terrifyingly powerful composite character around short of the one that showed up in the original Guardians Of The Galaxy (he was able to permanently copy ANYTHING he witnessed, from power to skill to talent, he ended up copying and nearly replacing the Living Tribunal before being stopped). If he'd realized he had a power depletion limitation first go around he'd have worked out a cure for it using his combined genius of Supergirl, Mon-El, and Brainiac or at least killed Superman and Batman before the power ran out and ensured he'd have a wealthy life after the powers were gone.

Hey! I demand you include Codpiece! He's a DC supervillain who's backstory is simply too good to pass up! Due to an inferiority complex about the size of his, ahem, codpiece, he often interpreted comments against him in a negative light. Eventually he created a suit with a codpiece weapon system and became a supervillain. He primarily robbed banks. -taken from the D.C. Comics wikia page. In short, he was a guy who had penis size insecurities and compensated for it by building a suit with an extra large penis shaped attachment that was effectively a sci-if Swiss Army knife. Shaped like a dick. And he did it to rob banks for some reason.

As I recall Catwomans old origin (1950s-60s) was that she was a train stewardess until the train she was working on got derailed in a bad accident with a runaway bulldozer (also known then as a catapillar tractor or 'cat'), she walked away from the crash with amnesia and decided to become a cat-themed thief and villain. Then there was Lex Luther, back in the pages of Superboy Luther was a teenage genius and friend of Clark Kent who built his own lab in his family's home. Then an accident happened causing the lab to catch fire, Superboy showed up quickly and put it out but when the smoke cleared Lex emerged with his hair falling out and blaming Superboy for both the fire and his baldness, vowing revenge on the Boy of Steel

Well, re Reverse-Flash, without the revised origin you wouldn't have the first origin. He was a deranged fan of Barry Allen, used the Cosmic Treadmill to go back in time, discovered he was fated to die at Flash's hand, he went crazy(er) and deluded himself into thinking he WAS the then-dead Barry, got exposed and stopped by Wally West, forcefully sent back to the future (ba-dum-tish), lost his memory again except for having a deep hatred for Barry (and a lingering dislike of Wally for reasons he couldn't quite understand, but I digress), and from there we stream into the original origin where he got the Flash costume in the time capsule, etc...

I honestly don’t think that the Reverse-Flash/Professor Zoom origin was so bad. I mean think about it a lot of normal, law-abiding people, just normal people not necessarily good, not necessarily bad, might do the same thing if put in that situation. If you suddenly had access to superpowers, would you not even consider using them to make money or improve your life. And remember this is DC, so people who use their powers to make money are considered morally wrong. So that means no professional heroes like in My Hero Academia or something. Superhero-ing is supposed to be volunteer work, not a day job. All that really leaves open for a person who suddenly gained the power of super speed is supervillain or Jimmy Johns delivery guy.

Dumb or not, artist's point of view back then is not the same as artists nowadays. They emphasise on creativity & imagination, they do not really care about making an edgelord of a character or a far-fetching lore, as they prioritise on a colourful, unique & unthinkable universe beyond normal people's comprehension. I mean, think about it, just how many comic superheroes of modern day telling that is as memorable as, say, Spiderman or even Superman? Very little, because people are caught up in creating an edgy, relatable story that ended up sacrificing a one-of-a-likeness potential.

Flagsmasher makes no freaking sense, because if anything, terrorism brings people *closer* together as a nation. Also, the concept of someone painting with weird colors because they're colorblind and don't know what color it is could still make something really cool -- his color blindness wouldn't stop him from making beautiful grayscale portraits, so why the hell is he not focusing on portraying the world as he sees it? I would have included super boy prime. Essentially the super man from an alternate universe were Clark Kent was born as an everyday human, he decides to dress up as super man during a Halloween party and suddenly gets all of super man's powers when the real super man suddenly shows up with no explanation and the two decided to save the world cause why not. After that all of super boy prime's adventers involve him traveling to every alternate universe and killing every incarnation of super man from said universe to ensure he is the only super man. He isn't stopped until golden age super man comes out of retirement and locks super boy prime in the dc comic's source code.
