C'mon, man. BL looked great without a shirt on and he was very, very fast, but he weighed in at not more than 130. Don't start with that junk about one-inch punches and how he could mystically create power because he was a small man. Chuck Norris, at 160+ (and a professional fighter) would have cleaned BL's clock. In today's MMA competitions, BL would have been mediocre.

It's astounding that a lot of the MMA fighters or people like Benny Urquidez wanted to be like Bruce Lee. Despite being only 5'8 feet and at most 140 pounds. Had it been Vic Moore in Bruce's place that might have been more appealing to certain people. But Vic didn't have Bruce's grace,speed and prowess nor his charisma. Bruce set the standard that everyone wanted to follow. Whether you like that or not

People saying without Bruce, that there'd be no Tekken, Liu Kang, etc.. It's more than that. Bruce was and still is a hero to Asian (especially Chinese) martial artists and cinema. He literally kicked down the door to the west during a time where all Asian ethnicities were played by (read: mocked and parodied by) white men in distasteful make-up/clothing and ridiculous outfits. Bruce is a hero to giving Asian cultures some ground in the western world. He's a fucking legend, nothing less.

Which is why I can understand why he didn't want to do the fight scene with Burt Ward in BATMAN in which he actually loses to Robin,which is absurdly ridiculous. Bruce could've taken on Col. Gumm, his henchman, AND Batman and Robin all by himself, and all Van Williams had to do was stand off to the side, and laugh his head off!

@AnikaHope-gd6xu Good grief just stop. If your strict religous countries actually taught you about science in school instead of forcefully brainwashing you into believing all these strict religous beliefs then you might actually live a more peaceful and less aniexty stressed life. You ever noticed dinosaur bones are millions of years old? They have even found many samples of early human bones from hundreds or thousands of years ago and you can see how they progressed over time into what we are now. Better yet did you not ever think it was strange that in different continents on the planet people have different religous beliefs and gods? Not everyone can be right and its selfish and ignorant to say your religion is correct just because its the one that's been taught to you. You can pray all you want but God didn't stop the holocaust from happening. Or all them years of slavery. World wars. Rapists, kidnappers, diseases, cancer ect ect. Ypu really think he's gonna listen to your prayers and physically help you because you're so special? Sorry dude but do yourself a favour and be more open. Learn some science or other cultures. If someone's gay or whatever then just be peaceful with it if that's what they want. And stop being sexist to women denying them equal right and privileges to be who they want to be and do what they want to do. Those poor women in Iran can't even show off their beautiful hair without going to prison its a joke!

I'm not that old in fact he passed away before I was even born but the only film I saw of his on VHS tape was Enter the Dragon which has a plot similar to Mortal Kombat before Mortal Kombat even existed. But Bruce Lee passed away in 1973 so how could be be in Game of Death which first came out 5 years AFTER his death.
@derrickhaggard Жыл бұрын
Because after finishing up Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee began filming Game of Death however during the filming process Bruce Lee tragically passed away forcing the producers and director to do a majority of script rewrites, and a body/stunt double of Lee's to finishing filming the film so there's no telling which of Game of Death was the film Lee was in the process of making when he died or the film we got in 1978 aka the script rewrites, and changed scenes.
@rdblk8429 күн бұрын
@@derrickhaggardThe Game Of Death was a month in production when Warner Brothers contacted Bruce Lee to star in Enter The Dragon. He put the Game Of Death on hold. When Lee died, there was 30 minutes of Game Of Death filmed. The film compay, Golden Harvest contacted The director of Enter The Dragon to complete the film. They completely changed the original script that Bruce Lee written. Lee's original script had him and two other fighters going up each level of the Pagoda fighting the martial arts experts. It was on film and was edited out to show Bruce Lee going up each level by himself.
