It's not really known how it was pronounced,as it was spelt different ways in his lifetime but hail-eys is the general consensus. Degrasse Tyson is American so that would be why it differs from the english pronunciation. One of plenty. As Halley was English the English pronunciation is probably the correct one.

What makes that event a coincidence was that this was very early in the automobile age, and those two cars were the only vehicles in the entire state at the time.

There is a town in Norway whose church burned down three times (at least twice due to lightning strike, no arson). It was the same day of the year and the same interval of years between the events. We learned about it when we visited the place. Since just a few years later it was 'due' again, we actually called friends in Norway, whether it had happened again (it had not). Both assassins were killed before they could be brought to trial. Both Presidents were sitting next to their wives; both had members of their party wounded by the assassins. Both Presidents seemed to have premonitions about their deaths (although in Kennedy's case, this is rather vague).

Both killers were assassinated before they could be put on trial. 8. This is a stretch, but both are historically unique presidents for other reasons than their assassinations: Lincoln was the tallest president in history, and JFK was the youngest.
