Believe me, I'm glad WatchMojo made this list and seemed relatively knowledgeable, but I really question some of their logic. They claim that they don't include kaiju who are more often Godzilla's ally than his enemy, yet they included Anguirus and King Caesar, and even had Rodan as an honorable mention. The example they gave for kaiju who are usually Godzilla's ally was Mothra, who is usually his enemy! If they were going to exclude Mothra, they should have just justified it by saying the list is only for villains (which still wouldn't really make sense with the inclusion of King Caesar and Anguirus, but whatever). The honorable mentions don't really make too much sense either. They're including monsters like Ebirah and Zilla (who I suppose was at least memorable), yet they completely skipped over SpaceGodzilla, who was arguably deserving of one of the top spots on the list. Then of course they made the common "King Ghidorah is Keizer Ghidorah" mistake. Monster X/Keizer Ghidorah arguably deserved a spot on the list, but since WatchMojo assumed that he was the same thing as King Ghidorah he didn't even get so much as an honorable mention. I don't want to sound like the unpleasable fanboy, but WatchMojo pretty much asks for criticisms in their videos anyway, and I'm at least trying to be logical in my criticisms of the video. So overall not a terrible video, but it could have been a lot better.

The lore shows MUTOs originated from a dead creature named “Dagon” a species of Godzilla 9: Hedorah: A odd but also spooky villain. Love the idea of a polluted monster made out of mud and garbage 8: Biolante: The female Kaiju and spawn of G cells. The design is good and the idea of plants and a croc like head fascinates me. Also much larger that’s Godzilla 7: Orga: A strange creature that attempts to clone itself into Godzilla and the origins is disturbing. 6: Space Godzilla: This outer space clone gave Godzilla a difficult time, his abilities and his flying form are really cool! 5: Monster X: A Kaiju with mysterious origins, One of the strongest monsters to ever faced Godzilla. X transmogrified into Kaiser Ghidorah which surprised me! 4: Gigan: One of the villains to make Godzilla bleed and the final wars design is badass!! And chainsaws speak for itself, along with eye lasers and grappling hooks! Surely a violent enemy of Godzilla 3: Destoroyah: One of The Kaiju that made Godzilla cry (Godzilla jr presume dead), He looks badass and terrifying, has forms that make him adapt to new situations. His origin from an iconic fictional weapon is interesting. 2: Mecha Godzilla: The robo villain that started the trend of cybernetic/robo monsters. MechaG has an overwhelming Arsenal in which gave Godzilla a difficult fight to win multiple times 1: King Ghidorah: The most iconic, re-occurring, and badass Kaiju. King Ghidorah towers Godzilla with flight, height, and abilities. Truly and always will remain Godzilla Greatest Nemesis in history!

Caesar was Godzilla's ally right from the start, they never fought each other in the movie he first appeared in and in the second one he only fought Godzilla because he was being mind controlled to do so. Anguirus is the opposite however, sure they fought in his first appearance but ever since then they were even openly claimed to be friends. And if you use the fact that because they were enemies in one movie then the same could be said for Mothra as she was Godzilla's enemy in the second Kiriyu movie. I mean the fact that Spacegodzilla wasn't even mentioned is an insult, its a fucking clone of Godzilla and to make matters worse even Zilla made the honorable mentions list. ZILLA, the 1998 American bastardization of the King of the Monsters.

My top ten enemies that are pure enemies; not counting special versions of said enemies, and in no particular order: King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Destroyah, Space Godzilla, Gigan, Biollante, Hedorah, Battra, Megalon, and the M.U.T.O.'s. Added the M.U.T.O.'s to give the American Godzilla some love. If I replaced them it would be Orga. Also I might would have put Rodan in the last spot since Godzilla has fought him 3 times, but he's also allied with Rodan twice so that omits him from being a pure enemy. Also wanted to say Mecha-King Ghidorah, but that's really just a special version of King Ghidorah. Also thought about Keizer Ghidorah from Final Wars. He is TECHNICALLY a different monster than King Ghidorah. But they are so similar I left him out.

Bad list from someone who clearly doesn't know what they are talking about and has only watched the more recent films or looked at the bare surface into godzilla lore. Here is how i would put it: 10. Kumonga - almost killed godzilla in his debut film, but is really only here because of that. Afterwards he became weak 9. Orga - Put up a decent fight and had the guts to try to consume godzilla 8. Hedorah - Was practically invincible in his movie and required help from human technology. Final wars hedorah was a pushover though 7. Biollante - The list is top villains and not strongest, biollante is only here because she has one of the better origin stories of any of godzilla's foes. She is also immortal so that counts too i guess. 6. Gigan - First kaiju to make godzilla bleed and has a metal design. Its a shame he was an idiot at his full power. 5. SpaceG - Was able to effortlessly fight off Godzilla on his first encounter with him, even taking his son. 4. Mutos - Gave godzilla a run for his money and could have killed him if it weren't for the humans distracting them. On their own they aren't really able to do much to Godzilla 3. Destoroyah - Beat up one of the most powerful Godzillas relentlessly., while also having an origin story heavily tying in with the first movie. However he didn't serve well as Godzilla approached critical point. 2. Mechagodzilla - Launched an all out assault on Big G in his first movie with weapons everywhere. Killed godzilla in his second incarnation, but rodan saved him. Kiyru isn't nothing much though besides his origin. 1. The ghidorahs - Godzilla's arch nemesis, the destroyer of worlds. The showa one required the efforts of ~7 monsters to kill, and beforehand he would only retreat while also needing the efforts of multiple monsters. Heisei and millenium king ghidorah's held up decently but were ultimately not the best. Keizer ghidorah would have killed godzilla if it werent for the humans, and anime ghidorah is just a straight up god. Other enemies Megaguirus, Battra, and Titanosaurus - Just some average godzilla villains, nothing really special Ebirah, Kamacuras, and Giant Condor - Godzilla was able to beat these guys easily Megalon - A minor challenge Zilla - Yes Kong - Below average movie and an average opponent, who resulted in a draw. Gabarah - No
