What i love most about these scenes is that even though it's all fake, these scenes are still good examples of the kind of worse things you can live through in a zombie apocalypse besides almost being eaten by the dead or being kill by the living.

absolutely, he should get bonus points to because unlike a lot of these others, he had to get out of his situation back when the walkers were smart (ie used tools such as a rock to bust a window, climbed fences, looked under cars ect). He not only cut off his own hand, got out of the building the others needed an elaborate plan and teamwork to escape, found a means and was able to self cauterize his wounds, then got out of the walker infected city by himself. Not to mention that then, missing a hand, having no transportation, shelter or group for support found his way to the Governor's community..

Daryl and Rick have the most close calls, but I’d say Rick still has more. But in season 11 Daryl has been unstoppable, the only close call with him in s11 was in the train when he killed like 30 walkers but he made it look easy 😂

I remember when this show used to be great as well as the amc network. I was so excited when sundays arrived. Now, due to incompetent writers and multiple changes of showrunners this show is something else. It’s worse when amc doesn’t take risks to making new shows and is milking the walking dead name to its last drop. I wish Frank Darabont was still the showrunner. Things would’ve been different for better or worse.

It's too bad the show did him dirty. After they killed off Merle he mostly got all his opportunities to really take the spot light stolen from him. Robbed of the chance to properly come to terms with the messed up relationship with his brother, Hardly dealt with Merle's death, didn't revisit the revealed -severe - childhood abuse EXCEPT to make him care about Alpha's daughter, glossed over the effects of the systematic brainwashing and attempts to break him from Negan/Dwight.

Actually 8:23... It was Carol... Not even Rick was an MVP here Carol's the ONLY reason they all made it there. In 3... What made nearly no sense is that ultimately ALL of them SURVIVED. An those last 2 shoulda been done for sure when the cavern decided to drop on their heads. Same for Rick in number 2.
