How about I name the only chef I WOULD want to cook me a meal: Gordon Ramsay. He may be a lot of things, but I don't feel like he deserves backlash for calling out substance abuse in the culinary industry. He puts himself and his restaurants under the same scrutiny.

Ramsay shouldn’t be on the list. I believe he was pressing a very real issue in the restaurant business that could do with being public as it shows how common it is.

I don't think Lawson and Ramsay deserve to be featured on a Scandals list. Lawson was a victim of abuse and it's frequent in such cases the victims resort to escapism that includes substance abuse. Moreover Lawson for all her flaws is on the whole a role model (unlike many of the chefs listed here), she refused an OBE by the Queen, because she said didn't deserve it, she's the patron of many charities and she's even said that her children won't get a dime of her fortune because having to work to earn a living builds character. Ramsay was just doing a documentary on drugs... yes I know it was all done for publicity...but that's hardly a scandal. Thumbs down.

Speaking on Gordon Ramsay discussing drug addiction in the restaurant business… I dated two chefs and had to walk away from both relationships due to drug addiction. You’d have thought I would have figured out the first time, but sadly, I didn’t. I hope both are doing better these days.
