They could do a whole top 10 of Martha being magnificent! To say she only had a short stay. As the doctor said to her "So many times" Smith and jones saved his life Shakespeare code. Got is second heart started again Lazarus experiment offered herself as bait to which the doctor blasted his tunes Daleks in Manhattan 2 parter. Her who basically uncovered the daleks plans and took on the pig slaves to give the doctor more time. Quick thinking she used the lighting but she was prepared to try take them with her bare hands knowing she would be slaughtered. 42, ok maybe the doctor would need his life saving had he not risked his life to save hers, but aside from Clara if I was going to have any companion on my pub quiz team it would be Martha. Martha maybe is more intelligent and higher educated but Clara is more likely to spend 3 week previous studying pup quiz questions and attending every pub quiz in a mile radius casually observing. Anyway back to Martha used her logic and intelligence to do what had to be done, even though it was clearly emotionally distressing for her. Blink. Worked in a shop for god knows how long to support him, because the doctor was probably not really feeling the jobs on offer in 60's even though he probably would have earned double what she could. Probably not too pleasant for a highly intelligent, highly educated young black woman. Brings me very smoothly to family of blood story. 2 months was it? Working as a made in the 1930's Rose could barely handle working in a school cafeteria for a week and let's be honest without the doctor that was pretty much her job prospects anyway. Watching him fall in love with another woman, being racially abused, scrubbing floors, treating like crap by the doctor, seeing him become a complete stranger. Oh and saving his and everyone else's life in the dance hall. Having her family imprisoned tortured on the run, and holding no resentment to him what so ever. Walked the entire Earth! Yes as the narrator pointed out it was his idea but she a vortex manipulator! Rose had no idea what would happen upon ripping apart the tardis console. She did it anyway. Yes it kind of worked out but mainly because of luck! A passing idea. She may have gave life, but she killed the 9th doctor. Yes he would have probably been exterminated any way, but she still killed him. Martha a junior doctor probably wouldn't have too much trouble figuring out the vortex manipulator. But she did what she had to and walked the earth. By foot and boat. Ensuring she didn't miss anything or anyone. Gathering information on the way. Rose would have been like "I'll just vortex myself to a few places write the word doctor here and there with a date and time and that should do, so I can get to the doctor asap and he can give me a big snog" Rose was willing to leave her own mother trapped in a parrell universe! If it wasn't for her mother she would have never returned to the doctor in the 1st place. Martha left the doctor to care for a mother who betrayed her. All the time Martha living in Rose's shadow. At least she got a happy ending. I really hope her relationship with Micky was based on her not being Rose.

For me, its not so much Clara herself. She was handled so poorly. The Impossible Girl thing upset a lot of fans, but for me the fact that after 'Time Of The Doctor' its nearly never mentioned again. This woman has had a far greater impact on the Doctor that any companion has (and probably will have), and its never discussed by her or the Doctor. In fact, her character was essentially reset after Matt Smith left, now suddenly a teacher despite no indication of being one or training to be one at all. I think she was meant to die at the end of 'Name of the Doctor' but Moffat & company liked her a lot so they kept her on and just threw continuity out the window and restarted.

True The TARDIS who was inside Rose at the time Loves Her Doctor in her own timeless kinda way. As she said "I just wanted you to be safe. My Doctor" Those words came from the TARDIS not from Rose. Rose would not have talked like that. Bad Wolf is the TARDIS joined with Rose to get human form, and the ability to act outside of herself Apart from that. Rose came back because she did not want to live a normal life after being with the Doctor. Yes Rose was in love with the Doctor but Rose loved nobody more than she loved herself. She proves time and time again that she is a selfish jealous teenager. As recently as when Linda with an I, said good bye to the Doctor before going to what everyone knew most likely would be her death. Watch Rose in the background. She could not even let Linda have that without staring holes in her. If only eyes could kill. Sorry I'm ranting. It's my pet beef with Doctor Who I guess. I just can't stomach the misplaced love for Rose.

so it been said that the doctor regens into face he seen or knows...this was more prominent with peter run and the whole Pompeii thing...so with this in mind tom ellis a man best know for his role as lucifer who also played a doctor during the run of tennant could in fact if they so chose be a future doctor which is something i would greatly enjoy, or with what they are currenting doing with the not so subtle hints that the doctor actually has unlimited regens[or just more renewed cycles then we think] since even before 11 died they may just cram a boat load of celebs into the role to fill the roles left blank..after all morbius showed us in the classic and then the valeguard himself further showed/proved to us the doctor has more faces then we know and have seen. so basically it is possbile the doctor created themselves and with the hint from the curator may return to a few choice fav faces along their live...so what does this mean? does it mean that the doctor has unlimited regens thus faces? does it mean they could of created themselves? does it mean that the future anniversary specials will be true iconic and one to never forget and thus be like the classic were doctors reunite to do battle against a foe? who knows who knows

I won't argue vehemently, depending upon when we came into the Fandom for regular viewings i think is the divide for more science and hence nerd geek leanings versus other types of fans. I remember from "firs regeneration" of Doctor Who, meaning the season's end when Exclestein was the Ninth Doctor. Bad Wolf Rose Tyler/Tardis and perhaps the Time Vortex, depending upon whether the last has a personality. Bad Wolf would have "Become" once the Tardis allowed Rose access to the heart of a Tardis and the Tardis either shared in the experience or relied upon the primitive emotions of a human to guide the actions of the Time Vortex. Bad Wolf, for the time of her incarnation could see All That Was, All That Is, and All That Ever Could Be, in the time before shifting away from Jackie Tyler and Mickey Smith's witnessing eyes Bad Wolf had the same amount of "time" to alter things as either Clara or Me do to get Clara back to die before The Raven, or whatever time The Doctor has between the moment of fleeing Gallifrey, or the moments he has to be at the appointed time for HIM to die. During that Time, theoretically doesn't Bad Wolf have the "TIME" available ro make a few changes to the nuances of "All That Could Be." Additionally, seeing all That Was and All That Could Be, Bad Wolf could have manifested before The War Doctor (and could have when The Moment was created...The Moment and Rose Tyler (and the other pieces of her that MAKE The Moment could have had time - as the limitation of such are guided by Bad Wolf or the Time Vortex, when time, life, death and The End of The Tine War was at that non-linear set of time and action was up to Bad Wolf, and for her love of The Doctor, Rose Tyler/The Time Vortex decided to heal the wounds of The Doctor and the unresolved end of the Time War, Time Locked against the "linear" relativity of the pieces of the Time War's aspects and relative components.
