It was released with wOS 10, and can’t be downgraded, because there is no build of wOS 9 for series 9

Arg, hate that this has to be such a convoluted process with a dongle etc. I was _forced_ into an update after it borked while swapping pairing from my old phone to my new, and all the extra colour I didn't ask for on my watch face is actually kinda upsetting. How dare they touch my watch face! That's _my_ watch face, set up how _I_ like it, for _me_ . And just clicking into the weather app which is also garishly colourful now. You don't understand how tilted this leaves me after already being forced to "upgrade" to a phone without a headphone jack, without Force Touch, and without Touch ID. I was prepared to accept those losses; I wasn't prepared for it to mess with my watch too!

my take away from the video - you need to take your series7 to the apple-store for in-store service - takes 4-5 days. Im having to do exactly that - fully hate the 10 - and hate myself for having upgraded LOL.

Yes Sir But you will need an extra tool depending on what series of the Apple Watch you have. Some use a plug in tool, the newer ones need a wireless dock
