First time I've been generationed out of updates. First Generation SE not supported after just 4 years. After getting a Whoop, which is much much more accurate in measuring workouts I'm using my watch less and less, I doubt I'll upgrade to a new version.

Watch unlocks/lights up way faster in sleep mode when holding down the crown. Small change but as it does a good job as a torch for late-night bathroom visits, it’s a great little change.

This upgrade has ruined my S7 battery life. Previously one charge when waking would see me through to the next morning, including sleep tracking. Now it wakes me during the night to tell me my battery is low. Every night. So my sleep is shot now too…

Running it on my Ultra II with a 13 mini and no problems here. Battery is the same as it was getting a solid 2.5 days between charges.

They seemed to change the timer app. Now my frequently used timer times are not at the top, and I have to scroll down for my 4 minute French press timer. Is there a way to get it back to how it was on WatchOS 10?

Hello, Aaron. I honestly can say that my battery for the watch has drained drastically since the newest update. I too have the Ultra 2 for about a year now and this is so disappointing and disheartening. I’ve watched your previous videos and others’ too about how to decrease battery usage etc. but with this update… nothing seems to help! But I noticed this with my iPhone 15 Pro Max’s battery too since this new IOS 18 update also😢. Anyone else having the same issues also?

Yes, the new update has swiped 25% of my battery. I have always gotten about 28 hours out of a single charge, charging once a day after I wake up. Now it flattens overnight and wakes me with a low battery warning vibration.

I have a Apple Watch Series 7 (since August 2022) still at 100% capacity seems to be working fine besides slight more battery drainage but I believe it’ll get better once it adapts to the new OS.

Bit annoyed that Apple has removed three of the old watch faces with WatchOS 11. Explorer, Chronograph, Siri watch faces have been removed. Not really a fan of the new watch faces if I'm honest.

I can’t say I like the update on my watch 8. It seems like sometimes when I go back to my watch face, it has to load it again. But an even bigger problem: not I have 2 Shazam apps. When I open the old one, it tells me to open the new one. Why is the old one still there? Now the Shazam app uses almost 500 MB on my watch. I feel like this is a bug. Are there more people with this problem?

At least you need to upgrade, SE 1 is still a good  WATCH. Yup, it kinda lacks some of the features, but if you can live with that fact I’d recommend you to wait another year or two

sleepapnoe does work for me (Netherlands) also the warnings for it. I do ave to wear it for 30 days before enough data is collected to give me actual warnings. but it does work.

I'm using it, but I couldn't find any differences whatsoever, so that's why I came here. Looks like most of the differences are in areas that I don't use. Oh well.
