Whenever anger starts to build up, my first resort is to stay quiet. This isnt the best because sometimes i end up ignoring people even when they’re speaking directly to me. But if i reply immediately, i wouldnt be able to calm myself and would sound very irritated. Staying quiet gives me some time to control myself and speak more calmly.

It gave me a lot of hope that thing will be fine, this is one thing that I heard throughout the trip; Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me(although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. This happens because the part of you that is angry wants to be seen and not ignored or forced to be happy. The anger is actually asking you to see it and accept it. Instead of trying not to be angry, try seeing yourself in your anger and telling yourself that you understand and accept yourself no matter how you feel. Breathe consciously as you do this. I totally get this. My 2 other siblings are already living overseas. I feel like everyone compares me to them especially the younger one (brother). Going to his wedding the year before he flew overseas was one of the worst decisions I made. Many strangers met me there and got their chance to finally interrogate me about questions I really hate answering all the time: marriage, having kids, religion, friendships, career and life in general. I know in my heart that I do not owe them any explanation or I am not supposed to answer them or share them anything about those things. However, the mother of the bride ASSUMED that I wanted to get married too, just like her daughter married my (arrogant) brother. Funny thing is, this same lady (mother of the bride) kept looking for me every time there's a family gathering. Luckily, no one can control me to attend another gathering with them. It makes me so mad that she kept insisting that I liked the same things that her daughter likes--- of course, NOT. First of all, I am an INTROVERT, while her daughter is an extrovert (likes attention). Ohhhhh Just thinking about them makes me mad again.

Working in the customer service industry led me to here. I work in a family business and I feel very emotionally isolated because I genuinely deal with beyond disrespectful customers that overstep my boundaries and whenever I talk about my anger my feelings are immediately invalidated and I'm told by fellow family workers to suck it up in order to remain "professional". That includes me calming myself down and organizing my thoughts for I had a very bad day while I watch the sun set or any nature thingy. I did this every single day, and whenever I get pissed off I always breath deep in my nose then exhale on my mouth to calm myself down if I'm in the present getting angry and only I can do is how I'll react to it. As I'm writing this i was just having anger issues just a moment ago and tried to find videos like this. As an introvert who often shouts in their thoughts to the person in front of them, the breathing one does help. but not always, nor is it for everyone because some people might just become more angrier. My personal technique that makes me calm down right away is when I make up a simple joke with the current situation. Either in my head or outloud it definitely helps escape that unwanted anger. Though nowadays I just forget on doing that because everytime i go home from school theres always things I need to do and I obviously have noone to blame but myself for the reason i still have to work. Everytime I get angry and just badly affect my family and myself I know that but I can't seem to stop and be positive. Which is why I also take a breather, sort of, I just take a stop and calm myself away from anybody and do something completely impractical. Im pretty sure everybody has their own way to "cope" with their anger issues. obviously it wont go away as you think it would but avoiding it is the best option. (for me i guess)

Well this is proven scientifically that these methods work. My best tip is just.. to let it all out first; scream, breath in and out for a few seconds. then, do something you love, that can distract you, like a hobby; singing, watching yt videos or movies, sleep. Whatever. Or just something that can make your hand busy, like drawing, embroidering, coloring. Lastly, A hug, try hugging anyone that you love, or if you don't have that, a pillow works just fine. Just don't hold it in, let it all out first and find something distracting. Hope this helps ☺ •°* *•° •*° {You ARE loved, you are worth the time, you all are always beautiful outside (hopefully inside and out cause that's your choice if you wanna be both or not) just everyone's different. I would add if you write down what you're angry at, be sure to destroy it by the end of the day... otherwise it's like holding on to your anger. I used to write about angry experiences in my journal, and when I decided to stop writing down things and keeping them around, it actually helped me feel better mentally. I also learned from "Walking Through Anger" by Christian Conte that anger happens when we want to control a person or situation in which we feel we have no control. That was a big eye-opener for me. :)

Anger is a secondary emotion of fear. We get angry because we think we are not going to get something we want or we are afraid to lose something we already have. It’s just that in the moment of anger it’s exceedingly difficult to remember to ask our selves these questions.

Unfortunately, words can hurt and people don't like being around others that hurt them, I have been hurt over and over by words so I know first hand. The answer is, how much do you want to change? I know its very hard but you need to find out what's making you so angry in the first place. You can do that by watching yourself in day to day matters and listening to you silent thoughts. It's a slow process but keep a journal on your phone and look back, that'll give you some insight into your thinking patterns. Something that worked for me..... did you know, that Jesus came and died to forgive you of everything? He has the power to take it all away! As we go through life we bottle up so much baggage and Jesus said: 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,' Luke 4:18 If youd like further info on how to be free of your anger through Jesus, give me a heads up and I'll direct you to the right place. Peace and love to you. 💗
