I’ve went back to grease and water months ago and my hair has been flourishing. The natural hair care companies lied to us and I,like many others, fell for it. Grease clogs your pores, petroleum is bad, blah, blah, blah 😒.....I had to go back to what my grandmother did because she had butt length hair and she used grease with the faithfulness!!!

How do you use water and grease? because I tried that and it left my hair dry and greasy
@aw7474
@aw7474 3 жыл бұрын
@@Babyluv_ you basically just part your hair in sections , spray each section with water and apply the grease to the scalp and hair strand ( don’t forget them ends ) and twist it up . If you feel like your hair is dry then probably add in a leave in conditioner with it and then apply the grease

Grease is good for sealing in moisture and length retention. Grease can not, I repeat can not clog your pores/scalp or penetrate into your hair. The chemical structure of petroleum is too big to do so. It’s strictly a sealant. So make sure you moisturize before adding grease to your hair.

If it was that dangerous they would have never pass it for a hair product...Also Vaseline has been around for about 100 years....there is a generation that used it and their skin and hair thrive.... All these new products are johnny come lately they don't have the years of testimony that grease has....

This is the grease I had in my hair when i went to dominican salon and she washed it and white balls and clumps started showing in my hair. She said it was the grease and it was bad for my hair and it came out when she combed it up to 40 percent of my hair came out. I never seen where grease became white chunky girl I wash my hair all the time and we used this as a child so i think it could have been something in her shampoo like a relaxer or texturized? I've never seen it in my life I was embarrassed bc it was nothing but men in there of other race looking at my hair fall out. THIS HAVE NEVER EVER HAPPENED EVER WITH THIS GREASE. What you think?

It doesn't sound like it's the grease because if your hair didn't like the grease it would have started falling out BEFORE you entered the hair salon. It seems like it was something she used in your hair that made your hair come out. Sorry this happened to you. 🙏🏽

@@AquaSun-11203 thanks so much God bless I thought the same thing. I been natural 8 yrs and my hair is thick 4b hair and nobody likes to do it bc it is so thick and long. It was embarrassing and she blamed me and said she been doing hair for over 20 yrs and it never happened to her and she said so many things. I payed her 20 dollars and she made me leave with a wet head and this was in March 2020. So I have been protective styling to grow it back. If I had thin hair it would have showed. Thanks for being kind. Blessings your way 🙏❤

A relaxer cannot be hidden in a shampoo. It would loos its effectiveness. Some people do have these experiences with grease and sometimes with shampoo that doesn't agree with their hair.

Do you clarify to get the grease out or does it wash out with a regular shampoo or cowash?

I have known people who could not get it out of their hair with several clarifies and did experience breakage trying.

if the hair breaks it is because they half washed it. usi a good clarifing shampoo and the hair will be cleansed properly without breaking off. Then make sure you deep condition the hair.

Hey Queen... I thought u were on the curly girl method. That grease has lanolin, petrolatum and mineral oil in it. 🤔 I dont do curly girl method, i just use what my hair likes. I think u mentioned not wanting to use products with silicones and all....thats why i figured u were strictly on the curly girl method. Most dont deal with products that have those ingredients. Im old school at heart. Grease is still the bomb. I just cant use it if castor oil or coconut oil is in the first 5 ingredients.
