Im looking forward to the espresso and cannabis communities colliding. High pressure hot water extraction is something that is already widely adopted for home use after all. Something like a specialiced cannabis basket that you can just plug into your espresso machine to make high quality cannabis extracts at home without a giant startup cost

DeBacco U, very good subject matter! May I ask you about the Hot Water approach of oil extraction with a simpler protocol. Like bring a pot of distilled water or filtered spring water to a boil add frozen herbs and simmer, not boil for how long? then pour through filter into a Pyrex 4 cup measuring cup and simmer stir to evaporate water till it clears up and starts to simmer take off heat and stir slow to clean out remaining water or extract with baster from oil slick on top contained to a oil slick? PLEASE HELP with a regular old school simple hot water EXTRACTION PROCESS. OIL FLOATS ON WATER PRINCIPAL.

You may want to consider adding some suction filtration to help speed up the process a little bit.

Hi, do you dry your trim before doing ice water extraction? I always thought fresh frozen worked well and would be best way for yields and plant matter less prone to breaking down in wash. But I've heard people say because it wasn't dried and cured it will go moldy. Would working into a temple ball with heat and pressure or adding to MCT oil bipass the risk of mold?
@Almighty_Tubsta2 жыл бұрын
And I guess have you heard of any such risks involved with using plant material in different end stages of the plants life?
@DeBaccoUniversity2 жыл бұрын
If material is clean to start with and then kept in favorable environmental controlled conditions the risk of mold would be reduced.
