to tell you frankly, we as engineers troubleshoot our machineries in this situation by looking at the inside of it, so we overhaul the unit, find the cause, we really not sure what the cause of a problem if we do not look into it, but a big percentage of water contamination is cause by leaking head gasket, or maybe checking if your unloader is working properly,

One my ship I have same problem with one of main sparre air compressor but I don't know where this water contamination coming from I also inspected oil sump couple of time but I did not find any water traces from where it was coming from 😒

hi thank you for commenting, have you tried changing your head gasket and checking if there is leak

@@theshipsmechanic6923 no didn't change the head gasket but I changed oil but some oil color normal it self after when compressor run in less humidity and less temperature area.

@@khanjawaid9459 if its the cause of the contamination then it will solve the problem, its only 1 of probable causes, there are many causes of contamination, if you read the manual it'll say that too much moisture would also cause such contamination, but in my case thats not the cause, but have you change the gasket already? if not then try changing the head gasket, and observe
