Waterproofing only blocks moisture not continuous wetting from leak from shower door

yep clean out old silicone 1st then recaulk it' have razor blade old stuff out and then clean with vinegear before doing new clear silicon dontt caulk over bad caulk have to clean out old stuff for best re seal

It's spray glue to tack hold fiberglass tape not needed optional trade trick hold drywall fiberglass joint tape in place

measure depth of hole, most interior is 1/2 inch garages and apts usually have 5/8 u have to measure thickness.

@@drywallrepair thanks for the response. I have a flange coming out from behind my fiberglass tub. Is the drywall supposed to go behind that. My drywall literally crumbled when I pulled the old paint off so I'm not sure if it went behind or on top of the flange

flange drywall goes up to flange then we prefill and tape over flange gape, if u sheetrock over flange it will stick out buldge out- gooffy design
