Water Damaged iPhone 7 Plus Repair Process

So the iPhone 7 Plus has an IP67 rating. Which means that it's waterproof under certain conditions, what happened with this one? Did it exceed those conditions?

Waterproof and water resistance are not the same. Currently, iPhones are designed with water resistance, but this feature tends to weaken after the first few months of use. The rubber seals deteriorate over time, making it less effective. So, even though there might be a water resistance rating, it may not be as reliable in the long run.

There are many repair videos on youtube. You don't have to pay that sum of money. The principles are the same just find the faulty component and practice non-stop on faulty devices. In only 10 months I am now able to repair many devices by checking resistances and whether they arw normal or not.

Great job like always. Part. I know that you are the master of recovery data. recently I did an iphone 7 swapboard, everything went fine, the device turns on but freezes after entering the lock code. So I moved the nfc from the original motherboard and it is still the same then I measured the pads under nfc and also everything ok .. what could be the reason for this behavior?

Thanks. More likely is your NFC volt supply failed. When doing CPU, the heat affected the tiny ic and black glue on top of A10

while you were supplying current to the motherboard, you should've used an infrared camera to spot abnormally hot components to pinpoint the short circuit- instead of checking everywhere and hoping to find the problem.
