I can’t believe we had this unit unplugged for a year. I resolved to take it to the dump a few weeks ago but as a last ditch effort I googled to find a repairman. Thid video came up and I recognized the unit on the picture. What do you know? This was the solution! ❤️ Thank you!!!

Hii bro!!! My room temperature button does not expels room temperature water 😢, it expels cold water like cold button. (Mine is brand new.) That happened to you? Maybe mine is wrong? Or maybe a factory defect??

I checked to be sure the hose was not loose on either end. I unplugged it, and waited for a few minutes to see if it would reset. When I plugged it back in, I heard the motor start up. I gave it an hour for the hot water to get hot and see if the hot water would pump, but it didn't, the normal water did pump. Yesterday the water bottle was empty, I bought more water today. The cold hasn't pumped for about a year, I just used the hot water. After unplugging it again and waited a few minutes, I replunged it, and this time I didn't hear the motor. What do you suggest?

Check the back of your dispenser and turn it on both hot and cold switches. All water dispensers are just have one supply pump just make it sure that all the tubing are properly hooked up and your water cabinet door are securely closed. I hope this helps.

I have the Costco Hamilton Beach bottom load and I have the same problem. After opening the top cover, I see the valve ear has been cracked so when I push the dispense button, it open the valve slightly. That is why my hot water starts to slowly decrease over a day or two. A viable fix is to swap the valve that I don't use. I also have an Avalon dispenser where the water on the hot side start to drip. On that one the valve wear down because of the hot water eat way the valve lip. It gets corroded\ pitted that is why it can an seal. I am looking for a more reliable dispenser.

Check it out all the tubing. Just push it a little. The motor doesn’t pump if there’s one tube is loose. And for the hot and cold, check at the back of your dispenser, turn on both hot and cold switches.

I'm having the same issue. We don't use a bottle, we have a filter. After using it, it blinks orange and doesnt get cold. I have to unplug it for a while and back in to get it to reset.

Check the back panel there’s a switch for hot and cold line you should turn on both.

True… but honestly modern videos have really spoiled us. I think we don’t have the patience anymore to listen to a real person talking. There’s awkward breaks, we need to inhale.. etc. this is how a normal person speaks and we just don’t listen as good as we used to before technology took over.
