Thanks for this tutorial! I was just thinking to myself as I tried this with wax, that I bet j could use my cricut. One issue that I did run into was cracking at the hand built seems that I have. Any recommendations as to how to manage that?

I cut my hand built seams on a 45 degree angle to give more surface area for the clay to bond to itself.
