This was EXACTLY my issue. My old filter was stuck and absolutely would not budge. Pulled off the front cover, snapped the mothertrucker in (that is now its official part name around my house, btw), closed the filter door, reopened it and the old filter popped right out, just like it’s supposed to. I have the same problem where it is stuck. If you do what he did you should be able to pop it out. My problem is have the same setup but different fridge. Mine is stainless steel but likely the same problem. Problem I have is can't get the bottom panel off without lifting the fridge..... 😅🤷 Going to have a friend who is super handy work on it with me tomorrow. Thanks for this video.
