This water leakage as shown in the side walls are not from roof or not due to roof leak. Its technically called penetrating dampness. Its usual in houses both newly built and old ones. It is occurring due to minor cracks and gaps in outer walls through which dampness gets through inner walls. It wont occur on all areas but only on those where there is favorable spot for penetration. Its commonly occur on rainy days and vanish on sunny days. it can be prevented by sealing cracks on outer walls and using damp proof primers on outer walls
