This is a great idea, only problem to solve is the corrosion of the metal in the water induced by the electricity. I have made something quite similar with an AtTiny85 to control my irrigation pump in order to avoid wasting power and water during rainy days and I had the corrosion issue. I came with a solution to cut the power on the lead as long as there is water in the bucket but here, I don't see that.

@@Myyoutubekr No, you would fry the 555 IC, you better use a DC to AC relay. A relay is basically a switch with a trigger.
