Excellent video! I am a fan of the RK batteries for sure, a lot of bang for the buck and great warranty for half of what the part stores want! You got lucky with a drain petcock, the wife's Yukon did not have one it gave me a nice death cool shower 😂😂😂. You're editing skills are insane, I really appreciate the work out into production 😎 I didn't know about any fill procedure for these. I filled my container full cold, let it run, it pulled a bunch down, I left the cap open, ran until it got up to temp. Filled as needed and then drove it a day, checked again, refilled it and it's been good since 😅

@@3Wheels1Block I’m about 50/50 on the RK batteries. They are good for the reasons you listed, but I’ve had a couple of bad batteries from there. A hassle, but I will say, they have always honored their warranty. That fill procedure was what the Haynes manual recommended, the 3Dub method works too! 😎👍

That coolant don't look like dex cool. Was that flushed and replaced at some point or did someone f up, I bought a 97 Sierra long time ago and someone had done that, didn't realize it till after I bought it then learned about the mixing coolant turns into an acid that attacks rubber and gaskets. Wound up doing intake gaskets but it was a good truck after that
