just to add if your water fills and falls down with gravity and disappears you need a geomentry in this case the actual original bathtub. in the tutorial what he says at 5 :07 to 5:20 is very important otherwise ur water will not be able to contain inside the source . and if you want more control on speed of water in bathtub you need to use a liquid simulator and initial fill inside it and then lower time scale to get more calm water.anyways the tutorial is fantastic

finally i found a tutorial that explains initial fill without using a liquid source but my water is falling into ground and disappearing after 30 40 frames. what am i doing wrong. its inside the object it fills like u have showqn but then it drops down like with gravity and then disappears
