Why couldn’t the gauges be installed in the dash in place of the OEM gauges? Couldn’t the old ones be removed and install the new ones in their places.?

Where is the temperature sensor on the block connected to? Nice

The old temp sensor that is wired to the dashboard gauge is connected to the side of the block (between cylinders 1 and 3). But it does not work. I connected the new mechanical gauge to the front top of the intake manifold.

Hmm I did same thing but keep getting a check engine light but if I put factory one back on with wiring harness no check engine light
