Water War, a documentary on the scarcity of safe drinking water

The documentary tells about the sufferings of the community people appeared due to the scarcity of safe drinking water and the situation becomes worse for 6 - 7 months when the surface water layer goes down leaving most of the tube - wells out of order. People are compelled to buy drinking water from the market , which is not affordable in the community dwelling low - income - families.
It also tells about the role of ASHA, a non - profit organization working in the Sundarbans bordering Bangladesh towards addressing the issue through community mobilization and the involvement of the stakeholders and the government officials.
